‼ PRO TIP Beverages are expensive in the theme parks! Use a food delivery service like Instacart or Amazon Prime to order in bulk and stock your resort room fridge. If you have a car, even better, bring drinks and snacks with you or make a quick run to a nearby store the day you check in and save yourself the $5 package fee.

DISNEY HISTORY LESSON Back on this day in 1970, Disney introduced the Orange Bird character as part of a sponsorship deal with the Florida Citrus Commission. When the park first opened in 1971 and for about a decade, there was even and Orange Bird character meet and greet! (Bring that back please!)

When the sponsorship ended in 1987, the little bird flew out of the parks. It wasn't until 2012 that he would return, when the Orange Bird became the face of Sunshine Tree Terrace in Adventureland at Magic Kingdom!
