🍁 Fall shuttle schedule 🍂

Fall leaves may be just around the corner, but our fall schedule is starting now!

The shuttle schedule for Zion Canyon:
First shuttle leaves the Zion Canyon Visitor Center (Stop 1) - 7 a.m.
Last shuttle leaves the Visitor Center to the Temple of Sinawava (Stop 9) - 5 p.m.
Last shuttle out of the canyon from the Temple of Sinawava (Stop 9) - 7:15 p.m.

The shuttle schedule for Springdale:
First shuttle leaves the Hotel De Novo (Stop 9) - 8 a.m.
Last shuttle leaves Zion Canyon Village (Stop 1) - 7 p.m.

Never plan on taking the last bus out of the canyon. If you miss it, you'll have to walk, which after a long day of hiking may be the last thing you want to do.

Want to explore dark skies while in Zion but aren't sure where to start? Zion has a host of night sky programs coming up this week! Join rangers for the following programs:

✨ JUNIOR RANGER WALK: Friday, 3/22, at 3 p.m. Become a Junior Ranger Night Explorer on this 1 mile walk along the Pa’rus Trail. Meet outside the Zion Nature Center.

🌕 KOLOB CANYONS FULL MOON HIKE: Friday, 3/22, at 8:30 p.m. Explore Zion by moonlight on a 1 hour, 1-mile nighttime guided hike on the Timber Creek Overlook Trail.

🔭 TELESCOPE PROGRAM: Sunday, 3/24 at 8:30 p.m. Explore the night sky through a laser-guided talk, followed by telescope viewing! Meet at the north lawn of the Zion Nature Center.

🌌 KOLOB CANYONS CONSTELLATON TALK: Friday, 3/29, at 8:30 p.m. Join rangers for a talk exploring Zion's night sky. Meet at the Timber Creek Overlook parking area.

Please do not bring white light to any of these programs. Programs will be held if it is cloudy, but canceled if it is precipitating or thunder is heard within 30 minutes of the start time. Bring chairs or blankets for the telescope program and constellation talk, as seating is not provided.

Here comes the sun - it’s Daylight Savings Time!

During Daylight Savings, most of the United States move our clocks forward one hour to make the most out of changing sunshine. You may not love the adjustment to your sleep schedule, but longer days means more time for getting outdoors

If you’re planning to visit Zion, make sure you know the local time so you can make it to ranger programs, check out the museum, and most importantly, not miss the last shuttle of the night!
