This as been such an incredible journey of turning our farm bin into this beautiful place to relax and be refreshed! Alex Gonzalez and Lori Gonzalez were the perfect fit for Virg and I on the journey! They took us all the way from the very beginning to home!!! We couldn’t be happier! Hey everyone, this is a big week for us here at Creekside Cabinns! Our family has been working on converting a run down grain bin that sat vacant in our family farm into a luxurious vacation rental for the last 9 months! We are getting ready to launch this week!

This modern grain bin is 26’ in diameter and has the following:
✔️a loft bedroom
✔️a gas fireplace
✔️a soaking tub
✔️a hot-tub
✔️a king sized bed
✔️a 2 full bathrooms
✔️sleeps 2
✔️a firepit
✔️has 1083sqft of usable space
✔️is right next to a beautiful creek
✔️full kitchen
✔️is surrounded by trees
✔️and sits on our 70 acre farm with two of our other vacation properties…

It’s meant to be a place of solace for those looking for a peaceful getaway. Perfect for couples and friends!

We are getting more excited as the days go by and the Grain Binn is progressing! We are so grateful to A+L Design Co for all their expertise! Without Alex Gonzalez and Lori Gonzalez this project would never have reached this level of beauty! They have helped us turn it into the masterpiece it is becoming and we could not be happier! Virgil, my husband is working tiredlessly at bringing this dream of mine to fruition along with some other amazing craftsmen! Shelton Eby, Bullseye Construction Inc, Vince Stutzman with Trigger Roofing, Wagoner Construction, and more I plan to recognize as this project continues! Spend a relaxing getaway at this custom 1-bed, 1-bath vacation rental cottage nestled in a wooded setting. The home sleeps 4 and is the perfect place to escape for a romantic weekend in the wilderness of Vandalia, Michigan. The updated, modern interior features high ceilings, wood paneling throughout, and tasteful furnishings and decor. Fall asleep listening to the subtle sound of the creek flowing outside your room. Additionally, you’ll be just 45 minutes from Notre Dame during football season!

THE PROPERTY

Sweet serenity is what your days will be filled with when you stay at this quaint, modern cottage in the Michigan wilderness. Step inside "Creek Side Cottage" to find a light-filled home filled with beautifully simplistic decor and high ceilings lined with exposed wood beams.

The wood beams tie into the open shelving in the well-equipped kitchen. Set your bags down, let your significant other go take a nap on the plush couch while you prepare a romantic meal!

Share your candlelight dinner at the built-in dining table surrounded by windows or move your meal to the outdoor picnic table on the expansive deck that spans the entire length of the cottage. Finish your night with a glass of wine by the fire pit as you watch for wildlife and listen to the sounds of the neighboring creek.

Get ready for bed in the large full bathroom before you crawl into the cozy queen bed and fall fast asleep. Wake with the sun in the morning, slide open the glass doors to the deck and sip a cup of coffee before you decide what adventures to embark on that day!

THE LOCATION

This region of Michigan is filled with activities and attractions you won't want to miss out on. From skiing, fishing, hiking, boating, to swimming there's something for everyone when you stay at "Creek Side Cottage."

There are plenty of beautiful lakes and hiking trails proximate to the cottage. Fish at Diamond Lake just 6 miles away or play a round of golf at Park Shore Golf Course then go tour the Moo-Nique Natural Dairy Farm just up the road from the home.

Grab some fresh dairy ingredients for your home-cooked meal then stop by Bullseye Marketplace for some delicious BBQ, fresh cuts from the butcher shop, and some fresh goods from the bakery.

There are some great places to travel for an eventful day trip. When football season is in full swing, pop over to Notre Dame is just 45 minutes away to root on the Leprechauns! Be sure to check out the game schedule to see when USC is in town to watch an unforgettable rivalry game.

You'll also find the Amish town of Shipshewana 45 minutes away, and Lake Michigan is only an hour away and offers visitors access to many beautiful beaches.

Stay here in the winter time and find yourself just 8 miles from the Swiss Valley Ski & Snowboard Area. Warm up by the fire pit with a cup of hot cocoa after a day filled with snowy fun!
