While I was cleaning at Cedarwood Hideaway today, I stepped outside and listened to the most amazing bird sounds I’d ever heard. It was a series of broken screeches and I’m fairly certain it was a Raven. It continued for some time but when I finally ran back in to grab my phone for a recording it had stopped (of course). Two Harbors Hideaways LLC

We are a family of teachers and artists who want to share this unique experience of living near the North Shore of Lake Superior.

We decided to start Two Harbors Hideaways in an effort to spend more time creating art and being outdoors.

Shelley is a printmaker and a poet, who also works with special needs students in a local school. Brien has been a sixth-grade teacher for over 30 years and creates frames and other functional items from upcycled palette and barn wood. Devin is a photographer with an eye for the tiniest microcosms to expansive views. Brighid creates wall art and functional items (furniture) from reclaimed wood and materials from nature. All of us are also musicians.
