Brandon Hoffman from our Trucking Division has been with Morgan Pavement since 2011 and continues to set the standard for safety! 👏 Year after year, Brandon is one of our safest CDL drivers, always performing his pre-trip and post-trip inspections with precision.

This year alone, he’s driven a whopping 12,500 miles without a single harsh event! That's like driving from Clearfield, Utah to the North Pole and back TWO times! ❄️🚛❄️

🎉 Congratulations to Chano Cruz, our Safety SUPERSTAR of the week! 🎉

Chano has been a dedicated member of our Slurry division at Morgan Pavement since 2016. He leads by example every day, always wearing the correct PPE and ensuring the safety of his co-workers on the job site.

Not only does he excel in safety on the ground, but Chano is also a careful and responsible driver of our company vehicles. As a CDL holder, he operates various types of vehicles during his shift, always following our driving policies. 🚛 His commitment to controlling speed, limiting the use of hand-held devices, and performing thorough Pre-Trip and Post-Trip inspections is admirable.

Jeovanny, one of Justin’s newest laborers, has been a shining example of dedication and safety since joining us on April 5th. He’s consistently on top of his Tyfoom training, never missing a day, and always wears his required PPE. Jeovanny goes above and beyond by helping his teammates stay hydrated and ensuring everyone works safely.

In 2023, Andrew had some of the lowest driving safety scores in the company, even earning an award at our end-of-year party! But in 2024, Andrew made a commitment to improve—and he’s been crushing it. 🙌 He’s driven 19,101 miles with zero harsh events and has reduced his speeding by an impressive 43%!

This week's Safety Superstar is Nathen Narciso, from Main Line Construction.

Nathen was nominated by several co-workers for this award. Nathen is consistent in wearing the required PPE each day and is an example to his crew. Nathen also does a great job of staying hydrated during the hot summer days and also reminds his fellow crew members to take water breaks as well. Nathen works hard to make sure the crew has sufficient water and electrolyte packets each morning before starting his shift. Awesome work, Nathen!

This week's safety superstar is Arturo Gil, one of our foremen in the Utah Crack Seal Division. Arturo was nominated by multiple employees for the care and attention he has for his crack seal teams. He is diligent each day in making sure his crews stay hydrated and take the necessary breaks to stay healthy in the summer heat. Arturo is also one of our safest drivers. He has zero harsh events, policy violations, distracted driving, or mobile usage alerts in the Samsara system. Way to go Arturo!
