It’s been 3 weeks since I’ve been in a hotel. It’s time to go. ✌🏾 #triptime #vacationfrequently #planahead

Tampa, thanks for having us! 🏝 What a beautiful sunny ☀️ city. How I saved on this trip… 📌 Flew Allegiant Air-🛫great for weekend trips. Departs RIC Fri and returns on Monday. Book early and catch a good deal. Our flights were $133RT. 📌Avoid checked bag fee by traveling with an extendable small rolling suitcase and an oversized shoulder 🧳 bag as your carryon. 📌Travel with snack. While you can’t take drink on board you can take; chips, popcorn, candy, fruit.. heck a Cheese burger and fries if that’s how you’re feeling! There’s a myth that you can’t take outside food on the plane but you can! (I just say be respectful of people’s noses 👃) 📌Rent a car with the same company when you travel each trip. Rack up points and get perks. I rent with the National/Enterprise family. I’m an Emeralds member so I earn free days and get to skip the counter and pick my own car every time. We picked a electric 🧡orange Charger for the Tampa streets. 💨 📌Groupon deals for activities… yes Groupon is still a thing! I saved $25 on a dolphin 🐬 sightseeing boat tour! And you’re guaranteed to see dolphins! There were lots of things to pick from and Groupon always has promo codes available! 📌Hotel; choose something close to the airport for accessibility or close to your destination for walking if you aren’t driving and save on Uber cost. Know the brand before booking. I’m a Marriott rep so I always look for their properties but I choose a different brand depending on who’s traveling with me. This trip I included my kid so I looked for breakfast included, a restaurant and a pool. Don’t be afraid to ask for late check in and out! 📌Use perks you already have… we have Platinum Busch Garden season passes so we got into the park for FREE! The platinum passes are worth every penny! We can visit 11 parks across the US, we get preferred parking at the park and monthly perks, this weekend was two FREE adult beverages 🍻. Hav

I made a promise to myself in 2021 that I would take a trip every month whether it was to the next town over or passport needed. 🧳 COVID stopped a few planned trips but not all of them and I still got out every month. ✌🏾 I canceled my planned December trip to Punta Cana one month before I was set to go and decided on Houston, Texas instead. 🤠 And baybayyyy when I say H Town did not disappoint! The 5lbs I gained was worth every bite. 😋 Highlights from my trip: ✍🏾 Location: Midtown - SWAM Bed & Breakfast 🏠 Shopping: The Galleria 🛍 Outing: Comedy show in Sugarland 🎭 Adventure: Galveston on the Golf of Mexico 🌊 Food: Allofit! 🤤 I start my detox today to prepare for my next Adventures.
