Mom is so proud of all that I have accomplished. Thank you Canine Chronicle for having been an invaluable resource for documenting those accomplishments. Mom says with a tear in her eye this will be my last professional advert. Mom says our goal has been met: to promote not just me but share the amazing breed wirehaired vizslas with judges, handlers, the public. I will continue to be an ambassador for our breed but step aside to let the Kid (aka Bam) garnish the accolades in the ring. Thank you to everyone who helped me along this journey. Proud breeder Antoine Poupinet in France who cheers from afar with great pride! Superb training for 2 years with Zsofie & Laci who trusted mom to continue. Kudos to Terrence B for all the lessons in grooming you shared. Much appreciation to the judges who have recognized me and support my breed. Kisses to the fans who have cheered me on. And special thank you to Adam & Maddie Peterson for always presenting my best side while keeping it fun.

Mom says its 'official' when the photos come! Check out this old man winning Select Dog and "The Kid" winning Best of Breed at the 148th Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. We met a woman named Marge who was attending her 72nd consecutive Westminster dog show. Mom assured me that we wouldnt be going for THAT long! (For those wondering, I am standing with the beautiful woman Maddie. Bam is being handled by the sharp dressed man Adam!)

Been a bit since I posted…we hit the road to Perry for a dog show. Mom told
everyone about me being a hot dog thief but in my defense, she didn’t feed us breakfast that morning!
It was a good weekend with mostly sunny skies. I was very disappointed the Fastcat ladies kept denying me to run. So i mostly hung out in the van.
Bam won best of breed 4 days in a row and me select the same four days.
I cheered on Bam ringside as he made the cut in sporting group but sadly no placement. I can get use to this— being a spectator.
Mom did go watch Barn hunt and thinks I’d like it. And the Purina booth lady asked if i was participating in obedience. I told
her don’t give my mom any more ideas on how to keep me busy!
Trips are nice but there is no place like home ♥️

I know it’s been a bit since i last posted…but Mom does not let me post without her supervision—she has been busy.
Me and the kid Bam 💥 came up to Georgia to visit family, friends this week and catch dog shows.
Maddie & Adam have this competition going who can win most best of breeds. Honestly, Maddie has been winning by a lot!
Day 1, Maddie & me won Best of Breed! With 12 whvs entered. Not bad for an old dude of 8 and half years.
Day 2, Adam & Bam 💥 won Best of Breed. (the judge did not like my stripped out coat😞 but Mom says we are planning it perfectly for Westminster 2024.)
Day 3, Adam & Bam won Best of Breed with Maddie & me Select with 13 whvs entered. (The judge asked Adam if he was causing a ‘problem at home’ by picking Bam…but the judge explained to Maddie that ‘us men had to stick together 😉’ and she said she understood. )
UPDATE: Day 4 Bam won best of breed. Me & Maddie select. Mom says i had one thing on my mind today and it wasn’t a dog show😬too many pretty girl smells!?!
I admit, was a little jealous when Adam took Bam in for group but I quickly realized how comfy my chair was! I even had time for a nap on my rug ringside🙌 Life is good😊

If you look closely, both Bam (with Maddie) and me (with Adam) are captured in the Royal Canin Around the Rings. Diana Han is an amazing show photographer and continues to capture only my best side😉🙌😆

Mom says she wishes she could take me to Hawaii! Sadly, the flight is soooo long and the quarantine rules are a bo**er. So instead I visit Hawaii in my dreams ♥️ Little known fact—my roomie Ona was named after the Hawaiian word for sweet donuts Mom ate when she got married on Kauai.

Me and the kid got mail today. Mom said to pinch her because she must be dreaming…Someone asked why am i still showing (and winning best of breed even this past saturday.) Bam doesn’t know everything yet…when he does, the baton will be passed! The kid is starting to get it 😉🙌

Mom says she is beyond proud of both her boys! This means an invite to Westminster 2024 for both me and Bam 💥. Congratulations to breeders Antoine in France 🇫🇷 and Roland & Barbara Nagy in Hungary 🇭🇺
Thank you to Adam & Maddie Peterson for sticking with this old guy while also teaching Bam his way around the ring.

Mom says she could not be more proud of me....FLorida cluster week I was Best of Breed all 3 days from the veteran class! The Royal Canin show, I achieved 1st Award of Merit. Thank you to all who came and supported me this week. Mom says Im like a fine wine, getting better with age!

well did another thing winning best of breed again today under respected judge Joanne buehler. She has always supported me and our breed. Entered as a veteran, she asked Adam, how old is he now?
Adam told her 8 and half.
She replied, ‘best he has ever looked’!

Well ..Mom said i needed to be a ‘good sport’ and share Bam’s best of breed photo from yesterday with reputable judge Pam Lambie. (for the record, I won best of breed today but Mom said we were in a hurry and didn’t have time for a photo😳)
Looking forward to seeing everyone next week at the Royal Canin National Championship and the pre shows in Orlando. Safe travels to all.

When you get old (and lose breed to Bam) you get babysitting duty at the dog show. Must admit, i kinda like it❤️😉But It’s actually quite exhausting 😬😴 (thanks Adam & Maddie for sharing your 2 legged boy with me!

It was a great weekend in Ocala for Bam and me. Thanks to Maddie Peterson for grabbing best of breed with Bam all 3 days! (We couldn’t stay for groups with dad out of town and Ona and Rudy home alone. We drove back and forth 80 miles each day.) Mom navigated me to select dog all 3 days.
Special thanks to the Brevard, Space Coast, and Central Florida Kennel Clubs for the engrave-able medals! Nicely done.

Thank you Canine Chronicle for the spiffy spread! I’m still busy trying to teach Bam everything I know. At 8 years old, there is quite a lot to share! I keep reminding myself Bam is still a kid at 20 mos old and #6.
I am flattered to be #3 attending few shows but especially for an old dude😉.

Mom says she couldn’t be more proud! At 8 years old and only attending a handful of shows, I’m #3 and lil bro Bam is #6. Thanks to Adam and Maddie Peterson for keeping it fun! Thank you to all those folks who have supported me…jealousy is a powerful evil that has poisoned many. All I know is that Mom still takes me to Arbys because Bam and I are ALWAYS #1 in her heart ❤️
(Kudos to the other dogs, especially those with titles AFTER their names. Life is most enjoyed outside the show ring!)

POD arrived yesterday from Utah with all the Christmas decorations. Been raining since 10 pm last night with over 5” on the ground. Decided to ‘help’ Mom, Rosa, & Michelle but with over 100 trips upstairs to storage, decided to take a nap instead. Told Bam to pace himself but he just kept right on….
