Quick poll: On a scale of 1-10 much do your accommodations matter to you when you travel?

Do you sit at a 3-4, where you don’t really care because you won’t spend much time in your room, or are you sitting at a 9 or 10 where your hotel or resort can make or break your trip?

When it comes to my trips I’m a 7 because the hotel room is part of the experience and I want to have a full experience.

What's the average day in the life of a honeymoon expert? If I’m being honest. when you’re planning dream trips, there’s no such thing as an average day! But here’s what an IDEAL day looks like: I work on daily engagement on my business page and group, when quote request come in, I work diligently to provide and research the best possible trip for my clients, and then I finalize every detail and send out my proposal. Some days are derailed by delayed flights and clients sometimes needing extra support while in destination, and on those days, I remind myself to just embrace the madness. It isn’t throwback Thursday, but on this Sunday at the end of January, I need reminder of what it’s like to be on the beach relaxing. Here’s a photo of me on a trip to Fripp Island, South Carolina. On this trip, I took my first trip paddle boarding which has become a very popular activity for me, because you can see a lot of different ocean life. Travel Agents Rock, please read below and be educated:

"I think a lot of people misunderstand what travel agents do. Yes, they quote and book vacations. Yes, they make personalized itineraries and plans for you. Yes, this costs you NOTHING extra over booking it yourself.

What they don't do is get paid if you don't book with them. They are not paid an hourly wage. They are only compensated on trips they book, and only after you return home from traveling. So that Mexico vacation, cruise, all-inclusive resort stays, etc. that you book on your own - they could have booked it for the same price or sometimes cheaper, but you would have helped them build their business. AT NO COST TO YOU. Booking with a travel agent is a win-win!

The cost of their services is already included in the cost you pay, whether you use an agent or not. Essentially you are paying for a service you are not receiving.
