PARK FIRE ROAD CLOSURES UPDATE:

Roads are starting to Re-Open to Plumas County.

As of Thursday, August 15, State Route 32 has reopened following a closure due to the . Please keep in mind that some areas off State Route 32 remain under evacuation orders and those areas remain closed. Additionally, fire crews will remain in these areas so please drive slowly and carefully.

PARK FIRE ROAD CLOSURES UPDATE: As of Thursday, August 15, State Route 32 has reopened following a closure due to the . Please keep in mind that some areas off State Route 32 remain under evacuation orders and those areas remain closed. Additionally, fire crews will remain in these areas so please drive slowly and carefully.

As of Saturday, August 17, the following road closures and traffic control remain in place due to the --
State Route 36 is now open with one way traffic control from approximately 1 mile east of Mineral to approximately 8 miles west of State Route 32. Fire personnel remain in the area so please drive safely and pay attention.

State Route 89 remains closed from the junction with State Route 36 to the southern boundary of Lassen Volcanic National Park.

Highway 89 through the park is temporarily closed to vehicles from the southwestern park boundary to the Devastated Area. The highway is open from the Northwest Entrance at Manzanita Lake to the Devastated Area. Some trail closures are in place.

State Route 172 remains closed from Mineral to just west of Mill Creek.

Plumas County is currently experiencing the Gold Complex Fire that is limited to the small, eastern portion of the county. The Bidwell Park Fire has closed Hwy 32 between Chico and Hwy 36.

The Annual Poker Paddle is back this Saturday, July 20th 🏄🃏

Day-of registration begins at 7am and the paddle starts at 8am at the Plumas Pines Resort on the West Shore.
Paddlers get to choose between a 5 or 8 mile course and when they are finished, they can enjoy a lunch provided by Plumas Pines, listen to music and await the announcement of the winning poker hands.
