Save the date! Their next annual golf tournament is coming up on March 1, 2025. This fundraiser is to supports a non-profit and their mission to celebrate and preserve Lāna’i’s culture and diverse heritage, including educational programs for students and ʻāina stewardship events.

QUICK UPDATE - EXPEDITIONS RATE CHANGE FERRY TICKETS

Expeditions Ferry has announced a rate increase effective October 5, 2024. Adult Visitor Round Trip is increasing to $132+tax and Child Visitor increasing to $68+tax. Expeditions had not increased their fares for 16 years and has been seriously impacted by the Maui fire. They are committed to providing reliable, quality service and transportation between Maui and Lanai.

Updates from Maui Humane Society and Lanai Cat Sanctuary working together.

Quote”Say aloha to 50 cats leaving MHS & Lanai Cat Sanctuary, headed to their new life in California with Humane Society Silicon Valley! Thanks to the collaboration of these organizations and Greater Good Charities, these 50 cats are California dreaming 😻

All teams worked together to ensure these friendly felines were safely prepped and ready to go on an adventure to their new homes, which is another big step forward in our fire response efforts. These cats have either been surrendered by their former owners, have not been reclaimed, and/or have no signs of ownership.

Mahalos are in order for this pawesome collaboration!
🐾 Mahalo to Lanai Cat Sanctuary for our lifesaving partnership to transfer more than 200 outdoor-acclimated cats to their beautiful sanctuary on Lanai, in exchange for taking in 200 social cats to MHS.
🐾 Mahalo to Humane Society Silicon Valley for welcoming in these Maui and Lanai cats and placing them up for adoption or with rescue partners on the continent.
🐾 Mahalo to Greater Good Charities, who coordinated the charter flight and supervised the cats on their 5-hour flight to San Jose. Greater Good Charities also assisted MHS with a large transport of shelter pets to the continent immediately following the fires to make room for incoming fire survivors.
🐾 Mahalo to our very own CEO, Dr. Lisa Labrecque, who rolled up her sleeves and provided veterinary exams and health certifications for the 35 Lanai cats. Major mahalo to all MHS team members across various departments who worked together to make this happen!
