Site Supervisor/Specialist Position

For The Child, a non-profit agency, has an open full time position in Santa Monica for an experienced Child Development Site Supervisor/Specialist to join our team, You’ll work directly with children (ages 2 ½ to 13 years old) and their parents, as well as supervise a team and the child care center. The Child Development Site Supervisor/Specialist is responsible for supervising program staff and children, assisting with a broad range of assigned administrative tasks and reports, explaining the childcare program polices to parents/caregivers, organizing and implementing program and enrichment activities with children from diverse cultural, ethnic, and socio-economic backgrounds as well as monitoring the children’s behaviors to ensure a pleasant and safe environment.

Position: Child Development Site Supervisor/Specialist is full time, M-F. $14.25/hr.

Qualifications, Required Education, Training, Experience or Skills:

* 30+ college units in Early Childhood Education/Child Development. AA preferred in Child Development/ECE.

* A minimum of 3 years work experience in child care/preschool setting.

* 1+ year previous supervisory experience.
