Run Disney officially announced today that IN-PERSON races will happen starting this fall!!!🏃🏼‍♀️

I am currently doing the happy dance! 💃 I have participated in two of the Princess Half Marathon races and they were an absolute blast! Even if the half marathon or full marathon isn’t for you, they have shorter race distances and even kid races to include the whole family!!!

Walt Disney World AND Disneyland are bringing back nightly firework entertainment in July!!!

This will begin July 1st for Walt Disney World (at Magic Kingdom and EPCOT) and July 4th at Disneyland.

Entertainment, activities and events are starting to return, so make sure you book soon to visit the Happiest or Most Magical place on earth!!!

✨UPDATED MASK AND PHYSICAL DISTANCING POLICY AT WALT DISNEY WORLD ✨

Walt Disney World has changed their protocols regarding mask and physical distancing!!! Here is the information released today:

Beginning June 15, you will start to notice the following changes:

FACE COVERINGS
Face coverings will be optional for fully vaccinated Guests in most areas. Face coverings will still be required of all Guests on Disney transportation, including Disney buses, monorails and Disney Skyliner. While we will not require proof of vaccination, we expect Guests who are not fully vaccinated to continue wearing face coverings in all indoor locations, and upon entering and throughout all attractions and transportation. Guests must observe current policies on face coverings until June 15.

PHYSICAL DISTANCING
We will be relaxing physical distancing guidelines for Guests. This will be visible in places like queues, shops, restaurants, attraction boarding, transportation and our theaters. It’s important to remember that some experiences and entertainment may still be operating with limited capacity or may remain temporarily unavailable. We’re not quite ready to bring back everything yet, but we are optimistic and look forward to the day when Disney pals and princesses are able to hug once again.

CLEANING
We will continue the high standards for cleanliness and sanitation we’ve always set for ourselves. Cleaning supplies and hand sanitizer stations will still be available.

Disney After Hours Boo Bash is a new Halloween party coming to Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World beginning in August 2021!🕷👻🎃💀

This event will be held on select nights from August 10, 2021 through October 31, 2021 from 9 pm until midnight (some nights will be 9:30 pm to 12:30 am).

The event will be held instead of Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party.

Disney After Hours Boo Bash tickets will grant admission to Magic Kingdom park as early as 7 pm without the need for a day park ticket or Disney Park Pass reservation, plus the 3 exclusive hours of the event.

Here are some highlights of Disney After Hours Boo Bash:

🖤Complimentary snacks like ice cream novelties, popcorn and select beverages are included
🖤Halloween-themed cavalcades
🖤Candy stops, with plenty of sweet surprises
🖤Character sightings throughout the park
🖤Special performances by the Cadaver Dans
🖤Low wait times at over 20 attractions, including Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain & Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
🖤Themed food/beverages available for purchase
🖤Special décor, lighting, music and more!

For those who are unfamiliar with Disney After Hours, it’s a limited capacity event promising low wait times at over 20 attractions and experiences in Magic Kingdom.

✨This past weekend, Walt Disney World updated their mask policy!✨
Now, you can enjoy the outdoor common areas without wearing a mask! Thankfully, this is one step closer to returning to normalcy!🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
They also reduced their social distancing from 6 feet to 3 feet. This has allowed Disney to increase their capacity, which should also allow for the return of experiences such as shows, parades and fireworks soon! Here’s to hoping!🤞🏼

Effective today, you can now take your mask off for photos at Walt Disney World! This even includes the photo pass photos taken by the Disney photographers! Even though this seems like a small change, it’s a start! Hopefully, we will continue with more good news like this throughout the year!

The Florida resort will now allow people to remove their masks if they’re taking photos outdoors.
