🚨Let’s talk Travel Insurance 🚨
About 95% of my clients per year do take my advice and purchase a policy, but for those that don’t, here are a few things to keep in mind:

✈️ Just because you may not be flying to a destination that is in a storm’s path, does not mean your aircraft is not originating from the destination, leaving it to cancel.

And it does not have to be just storms. FAA can ground aircrafts, there may be a small aircraft crash (Like at ISP two weeks ago), it could be crew timeout.

🚑 Illness and injury during travel happens more frequently than we would like!!! Hospital stays and med evac can cost tens and tens of thousands!!

These are just some of the many reasons why I recommend my clients ALWAYS have travel insurance. I won’t travel without it!

The Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa in Grand Cayman is a Forbes 5 star Resort and Spa, voted Best of the Caribbean year after year (along with numerous other awards) and I can see why! It is an absolutely gorgeous resort located on 7 Mile Beach. There are 262 rooms offering ocean view, oceanfront, bungalows and even family suites! The waterfront dining at Cocoloba’s offered perfect sunset views and delicious food. I would highly recommend this resort for couples, girls trips and family vacations.

Time to start planning for the 2024/2025 winter season!

🌎 It’s Where In the World Wednesday!

This boutique hotel has 121 suites (including 1 new building with new suites) & it is located right on the water, unlike many hotels that are located at higher elevations. There is 1 adult only pool and 4 other pools on property as well as 3 restaurants. They are in the process of building 13 new 2, 3 and 4 bedroom villas which are going to be amazing! Included in the resort fee are bikes, yoga, paddle boards, snorkeling, a coffee experience and the relaxation area at the spa. Best of all, it is only 15 minutes from the airport making it easy to get to once you land in Liberia!

Punta Islita is an adorable town about 2 1/2 hours from the Liberia airport in Costa’s Rica, in one of the worlds ‘blue zones’. Hotel Islita has 56 rooms, ranging from standard guestrooms and suites with private terraces to two- or three-bedroom villas.
