We kicked off the New Year with some great adventures throughout Olympic National Park, including an amazing overnight stay at the @quileuteoceanside in La Push. Gotta love having Second and Third Beach within minutes from our cabin!
What’s awesome about @olympic_nps is that the majority of our favorite destinations remain open year-round! Here is the list of destinations we visited during the first week of 2024:
📍Marymere Falls
📍Third Beach
📍Second Beach
📍Madison Falls
📍Elwha River Road (open to hikers/bikers only)
📍Spruce Railroad Trail (not pictured)
We’re excited for a snowy (& very chilly) weekend atop Hurricane Ridge! Stay safe, warm, and have some fun outside! ☀️ ❄️
Black Bear along the Sol Duc River May 4, 2022
Absolutely incredible Black Bear encounter today along the Sol Duc River from the safety of our tour van. Our guide team named this bear, Moo 🐮 due to the large amounts of grass it was eating. We hope Moo heads into the Olympic Mountains soon and further away from the road as that interior snow pack continues to melt away. Such a beautiful animal!
Rialto Beach 2/18/22
Good morning from Rialto Beach! We’re starting our day early with a custom shuttle from Rialto Beach to Ozette for two hikers starting their 3 day, 2 night backpacking trip on the North Wilderness Coast.
We’re the ski lift on wheels for about 1,200 hikers each year. Ideally, we pick backpackers up at their ending trailhead and drop them off at their starting trailhead at the beginning of their trip. That way, they can hike back to their vehicle at their own pace!

Hurricane Ridge Guided Snowshoe Tour
Hurricane Ridge 2/29/20
A beautiful morning atop Hurricane Ridge for our guided snowshoeing tour!
We’re loving our winter hikes and tours! Here’s a video from yesterday’s 4 mile roundtrip hike to Hole in the Wall at Rialto Beach. Very important to do this during low tide only.

Waterfall season is BACK! Proudly sponsored by this week’s downpour. Sol Duc Falls in Olympic National Park is absolutely raging! Most water we’ve ever seen from these falls!
The Salmon Cascades on the Sol Duc River from yesterday's hiking tour in Olympic National Park! Such an incredible spectacle of nature!
Impromptu hike up to Klahane Ridge to remind myself how lucky we are to call this beautiful place home. Happy 4th of July!
