1️⃣ Flights departing in the morning are less likely to be delayed than those taking off in the late afternoon and evening. Based on flight status data, flights after 3 p.m.⏰ have a 50% higher chance of being canceled, on average, than those that depart earlier in the day.
2️⃣ Airspace ☁️ is less likely to be crowded in the morning, as all the flights from previous days have landed.
3️⃣ Booking a flight in the morning also increases your chances of being rebooked 💺 on another flight departing that day if your original flight is canceled or you miss your flight.
4️⃣ Early morning flights have the added perk of being less prone to turbulence. According to the National Severe Storms Laboratory, most thunderstorms ⛈️ occur in the afternoon.

This week, let's talk about getting to the Maldives.
You're likely going to make a stop somewhere in the Middle East if you're coming from the east coast of the US. We stopped in Doha, Qatar, and spent a few days there before continuing on to the Malé.
You can also stop in UAE and spend a few days there. Most clients opt to spend a few nights exploring Dubai. Once you arrive in Malé, depending on where you're staying you'll either take a speedboat, a seaplane, and in some instances both.
The video is my recent experience on a seaplane. We landed on the water on a platform floating in the ocean. Your luggage is unloaded on the platform while a speedboat from your property whisks you away to paradise.
Speedboat and seaplane transfers can vary depending on the resort. Private seaplanes and luxury boat transfers are all an option. The transfers can also be made accessible for someone in a wheelchair.
