Backcountry Beards Backcountry Beards is a hiking/backpacking blog designed to bring you trip reports, gear reviews, an The blog is split up into three basic categories:

1.

Started in January of 2014, Backcountry Beards was created by two friends, and avid hikers. We promise to be involved in the community we create, be it in the comment sections on the site, Twitter, Facebook, etc. Blog Posts- General information, stories, and quick notes.

2. Trip Reports- Reports from recent adventures into the backcountry. These reports will include trails taken, conditions of

these trails, weather, GPS coordinates, etc. Basically, everything you would need to plan out a similar trip, if you are so inclined.

3. Gear Reviews- Quality reviews based only on gear that we have actually used in the backcountry. Rest assured that these reviews will never be “bought and paid for”, and will be based off our personal hands-on experience.
