October 23rd. Popolope Torne
I think I chose the perfect week to do this hikes so close, because the colors of the mountain simply were gorgeous. I love the vibes of the nature and the hikers that joined this adventure. I can’t wait for the following hiking meetups. Hope to meet more people that share this passion for the nature.

October 22nd. Breakneck Ridge
This was my first time on that hike so I was supported by , He is one of the hikers that has been in most of my meetup. Excellent person, check his YouTube Channel Ravi Joshi Vlogs. This was the most challenging hike I’ve done in New York until now.

October 20th. Beacon Mountain & Its Firetower
This was the first weekday Hiking Meetup. Some people was asking for that and the day couldn’t have been better. The good thing about weekday hikes is that you won’t find many people in the path and you will have beautiful pictures with no waits.
About the Hike
Places: Mountain Beacon & Firetower
Difficulty: There are different levels, that day we took the moderate one.
Highest point: 1377ft (420m)
Distance: 4-mile hike (6.5Km)
Time: Around 3-hour hike
*From the train station to the entrance of the Beacon mountain you will walk 2 Miles (3.2Km). There is a bus, if you get on time you can take it. This distance is not consider within the hike.
* There’s a deli in front of Beacon Entrance.

Place: Anthony’s Nose
Difficulty: Moderate.
Highest point: 892ft (272m)
Distance: 7-mile hike (11Km)
Time: Around 3-hour hike
Note: there’s no stores, delis or restaurants in the area, take snacks with you.

I had to postpone this hike, because the day we were going to go it rained like never before, but it was worth the wait. One of the best scenic views of the Hudson River I’ve ever had with incredible people.

After the success of my first hiking meetup, I was very excited about this one. Again I met wonderful people, this time I posted this event on Meetup App, too. The group started to Grow Up. Does anyone here, Why this place is called “Anthony’s Nose”? Who's Anthony? Did he have a big nose? We’ll never know.

August 20th. Poughkeepsie
My first hiking meetup. I thought no one would come, but since that day I started to meet wonderful people. The weather was perfect, the sky was blue with cotton clouds, simply an unforgettable day. This meetup was posted in a Facebook Group named “NYC Meetups” just if you are interested.
About the Hike
Places: Mid-Hudson Bridge, Franny Reese State Park and Walkway Over the Hudson State Historic Park.
Difficulty: Beginner
Distance: 5-mile hike (8Km)
Time: Around 3-hours hike.

Another one of my favorite hiking moments from last winter. I wasn’t at all expecting a cloud inversion that morning, but if only you could have witnessed my excitement when we got to the top (😂🙈). Hoping for as many more of these as I’m lucky enough to encounter this season 😍🤞🏻
