Another fun RoRo Street Art Tour. My guests were from Chicago, Milwaukee and Bangladesh. I feel so lucky to meet so many amazing people and introduce them to our fabulous art scene. This piece by is one of my favorites. It consistently triggers a "Wow" response follow by lots of pics.. I Iove how Lalo has packed this one with so many of his signature motifs...the heart, roses and calavera.. It was originally created on site for Raven Tattoo which has since been replaced by Lawn gnome publishing on 5th street.

It did my heart good to get a shot of this perfectly spontaneous moment. After explaining the inspiration for this piece this 9 year old boy on the tour said, I need to read this. It is this quote by Mother Teresa, "At the end of life we will not be judged by how many diplomas we have received, how much money we have made, how many great things we have done. We will be judged by " I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat, I was naked and you clothed me. I was homeless, and you took me in. ".
