The famous salt ponds of the sacred valley of the inkas, is a small hiden gem located 30 milles North west of Cusco city, at an elevation of 10,000 feet asl. The salt fields consist in aproximately 3,000 salt pans staggered down the mountain side in terraces that are maintained and worked by peasants from where they obtain salt for many centuries......

PISAQ, an ancient inka city located on the ridge of high mountain, is a jewel of architecture combining with nature, where we can appreciate terraces, astronómical observatorios, water fountains and channels, look out points, etc.
Is one of the most important archeological sites along the sacred valley of the Inkas, is only 01 hour away from Cusco city.....the entire hike an exploration in this amazing place takes aproximately 04 hours.
