Born and raised in Germany, I lived in Ireland for several years before coming to the US and then moved to the DC area from Los Angeles, CA a few years ago. I have 20 years of extensive experience in the travel and tourism industry and my love of travel has taken me to fabulous places around the world including Spain, Northern & Central Europe, Greek Isles, Indonesia, Bali and many many more. A fe

w years ago, I took a 3-month trip through South East Asia (Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Cambodia) and also learnt to scuba dive! Really, I lost my heart there and have been back quite a few times since. My most recent trip to Asia took me back to Singapore as well as Malaysian Borneo and it was just an incredible adventure! I do have a young son and absolutely understand the certain (and very different) needs when traveling as a family. All of my travels and trainings will give you recommendations based on a lot of first hand experiences from around the globe – this could be:
• a sunset wine tasting on Santorini,
• a private tour guide at the Alhambra in Granada/Spain
• seeing the feeding at the Orangutan Rehabilitation Center in Sepilok/Malaysian Borneo
• taking the cog train up to Muerren in Switzerland
• taking a helicopter over the Great Barrier Reef and the Heart Reef with a Champagne Landing on Whitehaven Beach in Australia
• experiencing Sangkran (the waterfestival) in Thailand
• hiking between the 5 towns of Cinque Terre
• hearing glaciers crash into the water at Glacier Bay National Park in Alaska
• getting spoilt at a luxury resort while being told “I am not here to spoil your lunch but to spoil you”
• being amazed by the colorful marine life on a dive in the Maldives, have a picnic under the iconic Eiffeltower

The most common mistakes travelers make — from a travel advisor who books dozens of trips a year.👇

I’ve seen it all, from canceled flights that leave people stranded to fighting food poisoning on the other side of the world.

But these are the most common mistakes I see travelers making:

➡️ Packing way too much and then dealing with lugging heavy luggage all over the place

Here’s the problem with booking the cheapest vacation package for your family 👇

It feels like a win, right? Knowing you’re finally making those travel goals come true without breaking the bank.

But what happens when the cheapest package means arriving at your resort too late and losing one whole vacation day or includes the resort that’s a two hour drive from the airport which will no doubt lead to a meltdown from the kids?
