During our one month travel to Europe , we tried some hotels in order to recommend them to my clients. The first one was King George by Marriott in Athens, Greece. This hotel is located at the main square of Syntagma and it is basically the start of all the upscale shopping streets of Athens. The room was beautiful and big and the breakfast room upstairs was probably one of the most beautiful ones I have seen anywhere. If you are looking for an upscale option to stay at in Athens, hotel King George would be a great choice.

For the first two nights here in Athens we are staying in a Marriott hotel called King George. When you stay in this hotel, you can also use the services of next door hotel called Grand Bretagne ( another Marriott hotel) . The pool , SPA and rooftop bar are located in there. The breakfast in this hotel is served in the most beautiful settings with a outside patio overlooking Acropolis . This hotel is located in the main square of Athens and it is in walking distance to shopping , restaurants and the entrance of Acropolis. I would highly recommend staying in this area if your travels takes you to Athens.
