Merry Christmas everyone! I can hardly believe how much change this year has brought. Between a packed wedding season and a move to Cleveland I’ve barely had time to breathe. But change is good and hopefully 2018 will continue to be bountiful.

Lauren and Zack's wedding day was one of the coldest I've ever photographed, but looking at the two of them together and you'd never it no it. Their happiness exudes warmth.

One of my favorite things about their wedding was the venue itself, Canyon Run Ranch is such a gorgeous place and was made even more beautiful with the work of Samantha from Samantha Joy Events.

When Zach picked up the engagement ring for Lauren, he was so excited he couldn't wait to propose. Within 20 minutes of picking it up he asked her to marry him while they were walking through their neighborhood park under some of Lauren's favorite trees.

Jordan and Zach's wedding was beautiful. They held it at the Hockensmith Barn in Louisville at the Parklands of Floyds Fork. The weather was perfect, not too hot and not too cold. And, the light was incredible.

Jordan and Zach met at a Valentine's day dance in college. After dancing the night away they became friends and remained just friends for a couple of years. While Jordan was traveling in London, Zach let her know he was interested in more than just a friendship with her. By the end of the summer they were officially a couple.

Last year on a trip to Arizona to visit friends, Zach proposed to Jordan on top of Devils Bridge in Sedona. Of course, she said yes.

I really loved all the attention to detail Jordan and Zach put into this wedding. The rich tones of the color palette were the perfect complement to fall.

Kayla & Brett's wedding was so beautiful! I really loved photographing their special day at Buffalo Trace Distillery. Congrats!

Kayla and Brett met while working at Bed, Bath and Beyond. At first Kayla thought Brett hated her because he was so quiet. As it turned out, she was completely off the mark, and eventually they ended up dating.

Kayla and Brett had their wedding at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, KY. Everything about their day was beautiful, from the couple themselves, the details, and the venue. I especially loved getting to photograph Kayla and Brett inside the barrel room.

Kayla and Brett had started planning their wedding before actually getting engaged, so Kayla wasn't expecting any big proposal. Brett, however, had a plan. He knew that she liked Harry Potter, so he wrote her a Harry Potter themed poem and set the engagement ring on a wand. She was thoroughly surprised.

One day after stopping at their spot on their favorite walk, Dan proclaimed that he found a geode among the rocks. Emily turned around and found Dan kneeling and holding a ring box he had made out of a geode. She said yes.

Emily and Dan met me for their engagement session at Deer Lick Cave in Brecksville earlier this fall. It was such a beautiful morning to spend in the woods.

Dan first met Emily in High School when one of his friends started dating her friend in High School. However, instead of asking her out right away he played it cool and waited until the Homecoming Dance. He asked her dance and later that night they exchanged phone numbers. They've been together ever since.

Emily and Dan have a favorite towpath they like to walk. On this path there's a particular spot they usually stop to sit and look at the water. One day, they were looking through the rocks near their spot. Suddenly, Dan bent down proclaiming that he had found a geode. When Emily turned around to look, he was down on one knee with a ring box he had made from a geode. Of course, she said yes!

I can't wait for Emily and Dan's wedding next year!

Ashley & Chris' wedding at Gardencourt in Louisville was so beautiful! It was the perfect fall wedding.

Ashley and Chris met when Chris moved to Charlotte and mutual friends connected them. She thought she was just introducing him to the city, but he had other plans. It wasn't long before they were dating.

Ashley & Chris' wedding was so much fun. It was so clear that everyone was excited to celebrate with them and for them. Congrats to the newlyweds!

Kat and Jacob's wedding at Spindletop in Lexington, KY was gorgeous—from the historic home, to all the beautiful details they put into the day.

One of the things I loved most about their wedding was how they integrated their wedding service to represent Kat's Catholic faith and Jacob's Jewish faith. It was as unique and beautiful as these two are.

Kat and Jacob met in law school. They were in the same study group 1L year and by the time 2L year came around were fairly close. However, what really pushed the two together was Kat's lack of a car and Jacob's possession of one. Several ride shares later and the two's relationship was sealed.

Congratulations Kat and Jacob! Thanks for including me in your special day!

Sam and Vince's wedding was the perfect end to my Summer wedding season. I can't believe it's been nearly 3 months since these two tied the knot! I loved all of the nods to the two traditions they came from that were intertwined throughout their wedding day.

Sam and Vince connected on Match.com. After messaging back and forth they set up their first date, dinner at Sal Good. They ended the night eating ice cream while sitting on a bench and talking until 1 in the morning. Sam's mom was worried and kept calling to check on him.

Sam baked her own cake and cupcakes for the wedding! They were as delicious as they look.

One of the highlights of Sam and Vince's wedding ceremony was the traditional tea ceremony they performed for each of their parents. It was a beautiful way to pay respect to their families.

Congratulations Sam and Vince! Thanks for including me in your wedding day!

I've known Stafford for years. Our friendship was solidified over Banagrams at local breweries in Lexington, KY. It's kismet that we've both now landed in Cleveland and it was so amazing that my first official photo session was her and Austin's engagement session.

Stafford has a big personality. She is the kind of person who owns a room when she walks into it and makes everything around her seem brighter and more exciting. I remember when she first told me about Austin, shortly after they had started dating. She got quiet, which was unusual and an indicator that Austin was a serious match. Even though she was a bit shy to talk about him her eyes were fully lit up and she couldn't stop smiling. After I met Austin for the first time, I could see why. They are great together. He is steadfast and charming which compliments Stafford's outgoing and adventurous personality.

Congratulations Stafford and Austin! You two are going to make an amazing married team. I can't wait for game nights in this new city we're both calling home.
