Planning a trip to the park? 🧭 Let us help!

Fort Matanzas is located on an island 🏝️ and only accessible by the National Park Service ferry. The ferry tour is free! However, since the ferry has a limited capacity, boarding passes are required.

Boarding passes 🎟️ can be claimed at our park visitor center on the same day of use on a first come, first served basis. Boarding passes cannot be picked up in advance for another day. We offer tours every day except Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

When operating, we offer 6 tours per day: 9:30 AM, 10:30 AM, 11:30 AM, 1:30 PM, 2:30 PM, and 3:30 PM. All tours are weather permitting; we do not operate when lightning is in close proximity or dangerous winds.
