Inshore Fishing/Offshore Fishing Charters. Fishing for Striped Bass, Fluke, Blues, Sea Bass, Blackfi
Left the inlet at 0530 and wanted to get some fluking in. With the south wind blowing now for a week, we didn't have high hopes. Well, exactly what we figured. Slow fluking with mostly shorts. We decided to go for Bonito. Great choice and we had them immediately. Water was extremely clean and we had a great time.

What a great day today on the water!!
We had a mix bag of Seabass, Ling, Whiting and Bonito today. Everyone went home with plenty of fish and we had a lot of laughs.
After tons of downtime due to some much needed repairs and upgrades we are finally fishing!! Our longtime friend of the boat Steve missed his spring striper trip in Raritan Bay so we decided to give the ocean a try before sebassing, it did not disappoint!! We landed an absolute slob then ran out to load the coolers with a really sweet mixed bag. Plenty of seabass and whiting for the guys! Great to be back out!!
We are saddened to learn about the passing of one of our longtime customers Bill Goering. He loved to fish and make memorie with his family! We will miss you. Tight lines now and forever !!
We ran a special trip today for Bill and his family. The goal for today was to get Bill "one last fish". He's not supposed to be out when it's under 40° or going to rain, well he got a pass from the doctor, took a little extra medicine then proceeded to show them how it's done. Glad to be part of this experience. They don't make guys like this anymore!!! Until next time , tight lines Bill!!
We had Mark and friends out today for some awesome bass fishing. Had action all morning before deciding to go togging. Had action before the tide change but then it really turned on. Left them biting. What a great day of fishing. Great bunch of guys.
We had longtime customer Jack and his friends out again for another shot at this hot striper bite. Today's bite was nothing short of fantastic!!! The bite started almost right out of the Inlet and lasted for 6 straight hours. Easy limits even with these regulations, bonus tags were filled and we even took a few bruiser blues home!
We always have a great day Jack and his crew!! We were met with some pretty sloppy seas this morning, luckily when it laid down the bite picked up!! Plenty of action from bonus tags size to big fat overs!
Did a real quick afternoon trip today. We had a real nice shot at some quality fish and were able to land some big ones that were all safety released.
Bill picking up where he left off in the spring!! Nice 45 incher safety released.
Another phenomenal day of Striped Bass fishing. Made a run to see if we could find them away from the fleet. It paid off. We virtually had non-stop
Action with only a couple of other boats. The action slowed as several other boats showed up but still was catching. These are the days you pray for.

Great day of Striped Bass fishing. Took a little while to find them but once we did, it was steady fish. Had to w**d thru the overs to get our keepers. Decided to try for blackfish shortly afterwards and had pretty steady action.

After our old Suzuki motors racked up 3800 hrs. We are happy to report that the Comptime has been re-powered with two brand new Suzuki 300's and ready for another 15 years.

Nice day out on the water today until the heavy rain moved in. We caught tons of short throwbacks and managed to w**d thru the shorts to get the keepers.

Fished an eight boat tournament today with other charter boats. Our charter won the fluke division. It was nice to see these guys so happy.
Not many shorts and the weather was perfect.

Fishing was very good today!! Started off with mostly shorts. But then the keepers turned on and we had good fishing for a while. The southeast winds kicked up toward the end and we had trouble holding bottom. All-in-all it was one of those days you wish for!!

Tough day today. Hardly a drift and a south wind but managed to get some keepers including a nice 5 lb fish. Had action with shorts but they needed to go back.

Fished today with a decent sea to start. The drift was extremely fast so we decided to anchor up for a while. The fishing was tough with the keeper to throw-back ratio much worse. Managed to put keepers in the box but had to fight for them.
Everyone went home with some fish but the fishing should get better like it's been.
Running back to Shark River Inlet today for this awesome SeaBass season.

Today we had the pleasure of having the Toburen family out with us. We struggled to find fish to put in the box, but we were very fortunate to have each kid land a trophy fish ranging from 43 to 46 inches.
Today was an outstanding day of fishing! We started out the morning with a trophy sized class of fish that were hungry, everyone got to reel in throwback sized overs! We eventually found a school of keeper sized fish and some true Jersey Gators up to 36".
Ran an open boat today!! What a great bunch of guys. We had great fishing in the morning then had a pick for the remainder. Had several doubles at various times.
The bay is on fire. Give us a call if you want to fish in the morning or an afternoon trip!!
