Happy Thursday!!! I know there has been a major decline of my interaction in this group but life has been fu**in lifeing for me (excuse my language). I have had to deal with some major loses and set backs but, I promise we will be back even stronger and better than before.
Here's a lil bit of some new upcoming things for Journey Trips and Tours we are working on updating our website, implementing a new client status system, and some fun exciting trips for you and your family! As of May 1, 2024 we will no longer be accepting individual travel requests, we will strictly be booking group trips only! If you aren't already on our email list please join our email list so that you will be the first to know about all of our up and coming events and more... So, make sure that you and the kids passports are up to date cause we bout to take over a few places shortly

My sister girl took me to see my boo for my birthday like every year, and this particular year, I also met this beautiful woman . You know that nightmare where you book a family vacation online, get excited, only to take the trip and be completely disappointed, then all of a sudden, you’re wide awake and realize it wasn’t real?

Yeah, that happened to a client of mine, but get this, it wasn’t a dream!

They booked a trip to Mexico using a large online platform that shall remain nameless only to get there and realize the hotel room was nothing like the photos.

It’s safe to say they won’t be doing that again, and now that we’re working together to plan all of their family trips/vacations they never have to worry about that nightmare happening again.

Trying to travel carry-on only this summer?

✅ Stick to neutrals and solids that you can mix and match

✅ Pack light and airy fabrics — they don’t take up as much space.

✅ Get a good set of packing cubes, even better if they are the compressible kind.

✅ Skip bulky purses and bring packable bags and backpacks instead.

✅ Wear bulky items like sneakers and jackets on the plane

Is anyone else a hot mess when it comes to getting through the airport? Between lineups and checking bags, things can get hectic. And don’t even get me started on when you’re running late!

But here’s the good news for my clients, I make the airport experience easy by helping them prep their documents & checking them in for flights. It’s all smooth sailing on the actual vacation because I’ve done the work to plan the logistics — the connecting flights, accommodations, airport transfers, and all the other little details.

The travel process from start to finish is just way less stressful for my clients. I love that I get to swoop in for clients to make things easy for them. 💪

How to never get lost when you’re traveling, even if you’re not using your phone data.

Save this post for later! 📌

Step 1 - Make sure you’re traveling with a backup charger or battery pack. Even though you’re not using your data, you still want to have a charged phone.

Step 2 - Open the Google Maps app and search the city or cities you’re visiting.

Step 3 - Select the “offline maps” option then make sure the map shows all of the parts of the city you need — where your hotel is, and where you’ll be exploring/

Step 4 - Select “Download”

And voila, you can now use Google maps to navigate without having data or access to wifi.
