Countries including Greece, Cyprus, Iceland, Romania, Georgia, Poland and Estonia will reopen to vaccinated tourists in the coming months; whilst Turkey is set to welcome UK tourists this summer without proof of vaccination or a negative test. Meanwhile, people in England may be able to take foreign holidays if restrictions relax further from 17th May.

Germany, Italy and France have announced new measures in the wake of increasing Covid-19 infection rates.

Beyond Europe, Jamaica has extended a ban on international flights and curfews are in place in the Bahamas, Guadeloupe and the Maldives. Thailand plans to reopen its borders in July.
