Disasters can happen any where and any time. The reaction is typical to the frequency an event happens to that geographic area or recurring events you have experienced. We call low probability and high impact events are a black swan event. Here is an example that happened today.

Do you over share with strangers on a plane or a bar? Unless you want to be a statistic, build an alias. This is a simple change in how you introduce yourself, what you do, where you’re from, and interests.

Don’t share identification, address, phone numbers during any conversation deemed “chit chat.”

Your privacy is important. Safeguard it as much as you would a bank account or house key. AI can mimic your voice and picture to threaten your circle of trust. Social media shows your friends… if not for you, protect them.

First three questions to ask before implementing a new asset or solution.

1.) Is it safe? Think lifecycle - cradle to grave. Will it cause harm to you or them. What about the environment tomorrow.

2.) Can you insure it? Will the actuarial tables make it cheap to buy? Meaning less risk.

3.) Will it be regulated? With local, state, and federal politics… even if you do the first two, they may still control or cancel it.
