Everyone who sees Dignity is always amazed. Located on a bluff between exits 263 and 265 on Interstate 90 near Chamberlain, the stainless steel, 50-foot-tall statue was designed by sculptor Dale Lamphere to honor the cultures of the Lakota and Dakota people.
There are so many cool things to see and do at Wind Cave National Park while they work on replacing and modernizing their elevator system! No official word on when tours will resume (they anticipate renovations going into early winter), but it will be well worth the wait. In the meantime visitors can enjoy all the wildlife, hiking the Rankin Ridge Trail, photogenic rolling landscapes, and the epic views of Beaver Creek Bridge ABOVE ground at Wind Cave National Park.
This one-of-a-kind building has been "a-maize-ing" visitors for almost 100 years. The World's Only Corn Palace is a sight to behold, each wall is covered in intricate designs made up of natural grasses and 13 different colors & shades of corn that’s switched out every year.
