I just wanted to update everyone... We are still without power and there is no estimated time for restoration. I was able to leave the house today and get some things done and I do have spotty internet on my cell phone. If I don't respond right away, it's just because I don't have a signal. I am working on dining for people that open up tomorrow and I will be able to get that. I apologize in advance if I am slow to respond.

Eight new ways to enjoy the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival

EPCOT is at its most beautiful in the spring when the park transforms with the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival March 5 through June 2. Guests can enjoy their time strolling among the bright flower towers, taking in the blanket of colorful blooms along the World Showcase Bridge, and finding favorite topiaries throughout the park. This year is the culmination of 30 years of horticulture magic, as we celebrate three decades of Flower & Garden!

Whether this is their thirtieth year of visiting or their first, here are eight all-new experiences coming to this year’s festival!

There’s No Telling How Far These Topiaries Will Grow

An all-new topiary display will be making big waves this year at the main entrance of EPCOT – make way for Maui, Moana, HeiHei and Pua! Crafted with an artist’s careful eye and the horticulturalist’s loving care, these new topiaries will be the perfect welcome to guests walking into the park for a full day of floral fun.

One Little Spark of Photo Inspiration

Our friends over at Disney PhotoPass Service are unparalleled when it comes to creative ways to sprinkle extra pixie dust over guest photos. Guests can make plans to graft special Magic Shots onto their day with a bouquet of cool returning effects, as well as two new shots – including this particularly inspiring Figment Topiary Magic Shot.

Ahoy – Family Fun Ahead!

If EPCOT is a family favorite, then guests know just how valuable it is to stay at an EPCOT region resort; strolling from their room right to International Gateway is a lovely way to start their day. Speaking of the EPCOT region resorts, the new Playalong Bay Play Garden presented by Smucker’s Uncrustables pays homage to one of our famous resort pools, mixing fun for the whole family with adventure on the high seas. This new nautically inspired playground will be located between the Imagination! pavilion and the entrance to World Showcase.

Enjoy a Seaside Bounty

Flanking the Playalong Bay Play Garden presented by Smucker’s Uncrustables, find two new Outdoor Kitchens with menus full of seafood goodness: Yacht Grub and Beach Grub. Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for more menu information to sprout once the Foodie Guide goes into bloom.

And, if guests are wondering where returning favorite Outdoor Kitchens Florida Fresh and EPCOT Farmers Feast will be – they will be in their new locations at CommuniCore Plaza at the servery window and inside CommuniCore Hall, respectively.

A Whole Crop of Festival Merchandise

Grab a bushel of great new gear with this year’s lineup of festival merchandise! Guests can celebrate the festival’s 30thanniversary from head to toe with a matching shirt and shorts set or a bright new spirit jersey – both featuring everyone’s favorite citrusy friend, Orange Bird, and the 30th anniversary logo.

For fans of Spike the Bee, guests can pack their garden party odds and ends inside a cute Lug Bag that’s sweeter than honey. They'll feel right at home touring around the park (perhaps partaking in Spike’s Pollination Exploration scavenger hunt?) with a Spike the Bee Shoulder Plush.

Speaking of a garden party, how cute is this “Alice In Wonderland” collection? Guests can find their inner Mad Hatter with the cutest pair of Alice In Wonderland Ears and gather some friends for a spot of tea during their next unbirthday party with a charming teacup set.

Jump for Joy with a New Garden Destination

A bouquet is worth a thousand words! Guests can stop by World Celebration to discover the language of emotions as shown in plants with a new garden inspired by “Inside Out 2.”

🚨🚨🚨As I am catching up on everything, I wanted to post an alert about an upcoming OUT-OF-THE-OFFICE timeline.

From about March 1-March 9, my family will be staying at Disney's Aulani in Hawaii for my son's Make-A-Wish trip.

I will be reaching out to clients and taking care of any expected needs before we leave. I typically work while on vacation, but my goal for this special trip is to unlpug completely (unless someone has an emergency).

If you have a need for a quote or want to book something, I ask that we try and do this before I leave or after I return. I realize I may lose some sales, but this is a very important trip for our family and I hope everyone will understand.

Beginning Feb. 1, Disney Cruise Line will bring back Dine and Play in a phased approach across the fleet. This offering allows children to participate in fun and engaging activities while adults enjoy a leisurely dining experience.

Here are some reminders about this guest-favorite offering:

Available for children ages 3-10 who are registered at The Oceaneer Club/Lab

Only available for second dinner seating

Dining room servers will ask guests if they are participating in Dine and Play

Guests are responsible for bringing their child to the entrance of the dining room to meet the Youth Activities team between 9:00 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. for check in. The Youth Activities Counselors will then es**rt children to the Disney’s Oceaneer Club/Lab.

Dine and Play is returning to the Disney Cruise Line fleet in a phased approach:

Feb. 1: Disney Treasure and Disney Dream

Feb. 2: Disney Fantasy and Disney Magic

Feb. 3: Disney Wonder and Disney Wish

We got back from Florida at about 1:30 this morning. My son had a hospital appointment and then all 4 kids had eye appointments. Heading home now and plan to work as late as I can make it. Thank you for your patience as I get through my list of people waiting.

Today we went to Blizzard Beach!
It was not crowded at all. My daughter rode everything at least 10x.

This is FREE in 2025 when you stay onsite! Get yourself some early flights, because it's only good on check-in day.

This week we stayed in the brand new Universal Orlando Stella Nova resort in the Epic area.

This resort just opened this week and so far I love it!

It's about 5 minutes from the Dockside and Surfside hotels. It took us about 10 minutes to get to the parks/City Walk.

The lobby is very spacious and pretty. It's all very open. The resort includes a pool with a large area of lounge chairs and includes a pool bar and hot tub. There's also a fire pit outside that is perfect for keeping you warm or toasting s'mores.

There is a cafe and a bakery/Starbucks that stays open later than the cafe. We ordered room service pizza tonight that was very good and not very expensive.

The beds are comfortable and the shower has a good stream. Stella Nova has their own shampoo and conditioner which also smells nice.

They were very attentive on any calls and were quick to respond. The resort also includes a gym and game room.

You can see Helios hotel from here and I believe you will be able to see Epic Universe once it's completed.

Facebook only lets me post 10 pics, so I'll post some more in the comments. Let me know if you are interested in booking a stay here. It's quite affordable and not overly crowded like some other resorts.

A spot that is often overlooked at Magic Kingdom is Enchanted Tales With Belle.
The attraction rarely has a line and your children get to interact with Belle!
The story of the day Belle and Beast fell in love comes to life as your child may be be picked or can volunteer to play a role in the story.
You start in Belle's childhood home and the magic mirror comes to life to take you to the Beast's castle. It's a fun experience for children and adults.

Fantasmic at Hollywood Studios

We arrived at Porr Orleans French Quarter last night. I requested building 5 and the location is fantastic. Right next to the lobby and pool. Due to the location, I may now prefer this over Power Orleans Riverside!

Living with the Land

Join us for Ride of the Resistance in Hollywood Studios

Tour of our room at The Contemporary Resort. This room holds up to 5 adults. We stayed Club level but the rooms are the same with the exception of some of the bathroom amenities (club had toothbrush and shave kits, robes, and slippers). Our room was a main tower water view. Our balcony has a view of the pool and Bay Lake. We could see the electrical water parade at night and our room was overlooking Chef Mickey's.
