As 2024 comes to a close I want to thank everyone who trusted me with your most precious commodity---TIME. I hope I was able to save you TIME and worry less while enjoying your amazing getaways.

Y'all 2024 was STRONG. No one wanted to stay home. Trips to Italy, Egypt, France, South Africa and oh so many river cruises took place.

2025 is showing to be just as robust and a few of you are already booking 2026 AND 2027.

I'm glad the travel urge is strong and you continue to contact me to help make those visions a reality.

This frigid morning was spent wandering the Paris flea markets.
Seven hectares make up the entire Flea Market, which today consists of twelve covered markets (Antica, Biron, Cambo, Dauphine, l'Entrepôt, Jules-Vallès, Malassis, le Passage, Paul Bert and Serpette, l'Usine and Vernaison), five Pucières shopping streets (Rue Jules Vallès, Rue Lecuyer, Rue Paul Bert, Rue des Rosiers and l'Impasse Simon) and merchant stalls on the sidewalks, each with its own identity.

There are guided tours available,not a bad idea for first time visitors. Many places to ship home your treasures.

Ok, first things first. The reason for my jaunt to France was to attend Travelmeet 24. Travelmeet is a conference sponsored by Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Tourism Board. 100 travel agents from 5 continents descend on the region for 5 days of meetings and site inspections. We were divided into smaller groups and given a region of Southern France to explore. My group departed from Antibes and visited Cassis, Les Baux-de-Provence and Salon des Provence

After long delays I made it to Nice France this evening. Dined at Le Frog in Old Town. I had the pleasure of dining there in April and wanted to return to try something else.
If you enjoy classic French cuisine, put this on your list.
I enjoyed snails with plenty of butter and garlic and then an absolutely divine duck confit with a berry compote. They elevated to new heights the simple mash potatoes. I asked him how much butter went into those potatoes and he replied "you can never use too much butter"
I promise I won't do 10 days of food pics but dang, everything tastes better in France.

My flight is delayed because of a last minute strike by public servants . 75% of teachers in Paris are striking today. Airlines were told to cancel about 20% of their flights.
Next strike is Dec 11-Unionized rail workers this time
I'm sure there will be more closer to the holidays

Confession time: I have never flown business class to Europe until last night. Air France offered an attractive upgrade so I jumped at the chance. What a difference!
The pod itself was roomy and lie flat seats were comfortable but the meal on board was the star. It rivaled any fine dining establishment. They let me sleep until 30 minutes before touch down. How amazing to be rested upon arrival. Unfortunately due to delays I missed my connection to Nice but with access to club lounge these next few hours will be spent in comfort. Many of my clients fly business and first overseas and it is indeed a worthy indulgence and a great way to start your journey

What a beautiful morning to stroll the Promenade de Anglais !

Last night we experienced Shirley Heights for the famous sunset party. It's a beautiful vantage point of the island and the sunset didn't disappoint. The drinks flow, the BBQ is smoking, the steel bands are awesome. Fun time on a Sunday evening. All resorts are able to set up a taxi for you. It's $10 USD to enter.

Our room--superior waterfront . I should add, from our location it is easy walk to the restaurants,pool and beach area. This property is hilly so not the best for anyone with mobility issues or if you have trouble with stairs. You can call for a golf cart to take you where you need to go
