We visited Huntington Beach State Park today. Home to around 300 species of birds. It’s made up of four former rice plantations. Purchased in the 1930’s by Archer and Anna Hyatt Huntington to build a summer home on called Atalaya Castle. They used it to escape their social life in CT and NY and a place to sculpt and write poetry. It was also to help with Anna’s health as she suffered from tuberculosis.

Cinderella’s Royal Table is a must do at Disney’s Magic Kingdom 👑 at least once. It allows you to go inside Cinderella’s castle and take a peek inside the main centerpiece of Magic Kingdom and visit with Cinderella herself.

You may even run into a few of her mice 🐭 friends too. It is a rather expensive experience with breakfast at $42/adult (10 and up) and $27/child (3-9). When you book this meal you have to prepay which is a little different than other dining reservations around the Disney World property.

The Caramel Apple-stuffed French Toast 🍏 is delicious. You also can’t go wrong with the traditional breakfast. 🍳

Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside Riverview Double Queen Room in the Alligator 🐊 bayou

The theme of this resort is that of Louisiana with two different sections-Alligator bayou which are themed like backwoods cottages of rural Louisiana and Magnolia Bend which resemble stately mansions. The rooms feature aspects of the Disney movie The Princess and the Frog 🐸.

The Sassagoula river winds through this resort and the riverboat takes you over to Disney Springs from this resort.

Our favorite feature of this resort is the horse 🐴 drawn carriage rides through the resort.

Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

On our recent December 2021 trip to Walt Disney World we did some resort hopping to enjoy all the beautiful Christmas decorations🎄.

These pictures really don’t do justice to how beautiful Disney’s Wilderness Lodge really is and how stunning and cozy this resort is.

This is a deluxe resort and is on our list to stay, hopefully in the near future. Stay tuned for our experience at Story Book 📖 Dining at Artist Point with Snow White.
