Celebration for Beverly Ann Fahlsing
Beverly Ann Fahlsing, 82, of Corsicana, Texas, passed away peacefully at home on July 20, 2024, surrounded by family and loved ones.
Beverly was well-known in her community for her exceptional cooking, with her key lime pie being a particular favorite. She had a passion for playing the piano, creating beautiful embroidery, and collecting antiques. Professionally, she worked as an executive assistant and was fluent in shorthand, a skill she took great pride in.
Beverly was born on December 1, 1941, in Corsicana, Texas, where she spent her entire life. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Cora and Henry “Dee” Smalling; parents, Evelyn and Willie Lewis; her aunt Enola and spouse Bill Evans; and her aunt Alma and spouse Robert Deroche.
Beverly is survived by her children, Michael McKee and his spouse Marilyn Rushing, and Lisa Tressa and her spouse Joe Tressa; her grandchildren, Cori Holden-Williams and her spouse Brit Williams, Elias Tressa, and Adam Rushing; her great-grandchild Jorge Rodriguez Jr.; her cousin Bobbi Cluck and her spouse Gary Cluck; and her loving longtime caregiver Robert Schultz Jones.
Beverly visitation will be held on Wednesday July 24th from 12p-2p at M. R. Smith Parlor for Funerals in Corsicana, Texas. Graveside service will immediately follow at Hamilton-Beaman Cemetery in Retreat, Texas.
Flowers can be sent to M.R. Smith Parlor For Funerals at 1236 N. Business Hwy 45, Corsicana, TX 75110. In lieu of Flowers, donations can be sent to the funeral home to go towards Beverly's Celebration Service.
Beverly’s warmth, talents, and love for her family and friends will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
