BIG Walt a Disney World NEWS from D23 this morning!!!

- Figment will begin meeting guests inside the Imagination Pavilion at EPCOT beginning tomorrow, Sept. 10

- Haunted Mansion's Hatbox Ghost will make his debut in November 2023

- World Celebration in Epcot will open this December 2023

- “Moana, Journey of Water” in Epcot will open to the public on October 16, 2023 and Moana will start her meet and greet on that same day

- The new Epcot firework show will be called “Luminous- the Symphony of Us” and will make its debut December 5th

- Ashoka, the character, will be coming to Disney Hollywood Studios next Spring 2024 and Asha from Wish will be coming to Epcot.

- Country Bear Jamboree will have a new show with updated theme songs from Disney movies in various styles of country music

- Brand new Tavern (restaurant) inspired by Pirates of the Caribbean coming to Adventureland, in Magic Kingdom

- Beyond Big Thunder Mountain project in Magic Kingdom is still on. Nothing yet specified. But will be the biggest expansion to the Magic Kingdom ever!

- A new show based on “Zootopia” is being created for the Tree of Life theater at Animal Kingdom and will replace a Bug’s Life attraction

- A new Sotuth American Encanto land is coming to Animal Kingdom where Dinoland is. It will house an Encanto ride/attraction and Indiana Jones

- Test Track at Epcot will be reimagined and updated.

Disney has just released the dates for this year’s Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. The first party kicks off on August 11 and parties will continue through October 31st. Guests will enjoy trick-or-treating, special ride overlays, special snacks, two fireworks shows: Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular and Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular AND the amazing Mickey’s Boo-to-You Parade!!! Tickets will go on sale April 27th for guests staying on property.
