30 Years!! Wow Amazing!
In 1992 Ahoy Travel began serving Travel adventurers in planning their dreams. Dreams of
traveling to faraway lands, to be engulfed in the cultures of places and people, sole escapes
to decompress and reflect on one’s inner self, to enjoy their families and friends, to celebrate
anniversaries, birthdays, honeymoons, world cruises and so much more.
Through these past 30 years friendships have been evolved between representatives, agents
and clients so much so that Ahoy became more of a personal one on one partnership of trust,
loyalty, integrity and family. Ahoy took the responsibility of addressing the concerns and
issues of travel with an intimate knowledge of each client’s interests and developed
personalized itineraries to fit each client. All clients throughout their excursions had 24/7
contact, if necessary, to their agent who would carried the concerns away so their client would
be able to have a worry free vacation knowing they were in trusted hands.
Ahoy Travel’s core principle was and maintained through the 30 years of “The customer came
first.” We took pride in this and were proud to have such an amazing group of agents,
representatives and back office personnel who without their professional knowledge of travel
and logistics we would have been just another travel agency.
We would like to take this time to thank our agents, back office as well as representatives;

Now, Ahoy Travel Co. owner Julie S. Hutchens, after these 30 years, has decided to
announce the closing and retirement of her life’s passion. She is currently in the final phases
of notification to all Representatives, Agents, Clients and general public.
Julie’s plans for her retirement is to experience her “Buck list” of traveling to many of the
destinations which her company has helped others to enjoy. Don’t be surprised to find her
quietly sitting in the warm sands on the shores of many beaches throughout the world with a
great book, a corona in hand and chatting away with her longtime friend from college,
Melissa Farrell.
Thank you to all who have come aboard our ship and have set sail an shared the joy of travel and
adventures with us.
