With Black Friday (then Small Business Saturday, Cyber Monday, etc) coming up, and after lots of questions from clients this week, I wanted to let you know a few things about booking travel "Sales"

✨Are there some great deals out there? Yes, there can be. There are some specific resorts that run great Black Friday (and pre-BF) sales.
✨Are all "deals" equal? No. There are plenty of companies that hike their pricing up, then run a "sale" bringing it still higher than pricing was last week. I can tell you which sales are worth it and which are probably not.
✨ If you book now, and the price drops are you stuck with the higher price? In most cases, no. A lot of the time, I can reprice to the lower rate and either get you a flight credit or reprice a cruise/room if the rate drops before final payment. I check this regularly for cruise clients all the time, not just Black Friday.
✨Should you wait until next Friday to start planning travel? Absolutely not! If you are wanting to plan a vacation, let's talk now.

Have you ever heard of Transatlantic sailings? When a cruise line moves ships from one home port to another, you have the opportunity to take advantage of a totally unique sailing opportunity!

Typically 12-18 days long, you get a less crowded ship, unique port stops like the Azores islands, and the plenty of time to really relax and unwind!

If you've been thinking about a cruise, there is no better time than now! With most of 2026 sailings out, Black Friday (and Pre-BF) sales, new ships and Galveston getting 2 new full time cruise lines in 2025, the options are endless!
