Who’s still shopping for presents? In a season where I am prioritizing me and not over extending myself. Doing what I can when I can cause presents are nice but I personally value time spent with loved ones.
So hope you guys take time to cherish the moments and not get so caught up in the craziness and busyness of the holidays. 😘

Cancun, Mexico was exactly what I needed. The weather was perfect not too hot and a little breeze in the evening. I love that there’s so many flights to Cancun from Houston and it’s only a 2.5hr flight.

I enjoy cooking but over the years it’s become more of a chore. Because I’m good at it it’s expected and assumed that I’ll do it. So this year I decided to kick tradition and do what was best for me. I’ve had a rough year actually a rough couple of years so this year was not going to be spent catering. For everyone else but taking care of moi. Happy thanksgiving!!

Had a lot of conversations this week with women comparing themselves to friends, siblings, spouses or co-workers. And so I figured while I remind myself let me also remind you. We are built different, we have different life experiences and we each have our own unique God given gifts.

1. Focus on you, you have your own unique journey.
2. Nobody’s life is perfect. Everybody has problems.
3. Learn from your past, enjoy the present and don’t worry about the future.
4. What’s meant for you will come to you.
5. Every day you wake up is an opportunity to be better than you were yesterday.
