Chase with a big old Black Buffalo 🏹🐟 Usually this species of Buffalo stays deeper during the hot months (on the lakes I fish), but this one got just shallow enough to give us a shot! This big fighter is much different than Smallmouth or Bigmouth Buffs, and it’s one of my favorites to come across 🤘🏻

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Feradyne Outdoors for hosting one of the best Bowfishing tournaments I’ve ever got to participate in. The 25th annual Muzzy Classic was phenomenal. The lengths they went to keep everything organized, everyone getting fed, and the prize give aways were just nuts. My team had a lot of poor luck, we got on some of the best tournament fish we’ve gotten on ever, and just couldn’t get them in the boat. Regardless we had a great time, and I HIGHLY recommend trying to bring your team to the Muzzy Classic next year if you didn’t make it this year 🏹🐟

The 2024 Muzzy Classic is set for June 22-23, but the party starts on June 21! 🎶

Good times with new friends Jacob and Karley 🏹🐟 We tried to get on some big Buffs, but the fishing was just rough which seems to be the trend so far. Karley was able to shoot her first fish ever, and then a few more so that was a win 😎

After a week of tornadoes and flooding, it was a challenging, but fun night on the water with my Tennessee crew! The troller motor and push pole got quit a good work out, but we made it happen 🏹🐟 Buffs were pushed crazy shallow in the murky water!

The Pearson’s have been taking trips with me for a few years, and I’ve promised them for a while we’d do a spawn shoot and it finally worked out. We got a few pics for the memories, but phones out in the floodwater are nerve racking 🤣

I want to wish everyone a Happy New Years, and just say I really appreciate everyone making this another great year of bowfishing 🏹🐟 I have been very inactive on this page because my new taxidermy business is keeping me extremely busy in my off time!!! With that being said 2024 I will not be taking on any new clients as of right now. I barely have enough dates for my regular shooters. and came up for a big Buffalo shoot with me last night 🏹🐟 Fishing was a little slower than I’d like, but we stayed in Buffs pretty consistently holding a nice average. Shannon smoked one that was pushing 50 pounds, but we only got some scales on the arrow… we will get her next time. Preciate y’all coming 🤘🏻
