And here’s a HAPPY•HAPPY JOY•JOY Moment I’d like to share:
Thank you to everyone for your creative energy! And thank you to Kim York for being my first Patreon supporter! 😁 She will enjoy all the benefits of her level of sponsorship, like this Happy Dance from me, and monthly JoeBobLeigh jewelry patterns not available anywhere else.

Watch a portion of the process, here I am removing the wax to reveal the colorful design.
FINIAL FOREVER! This bracelet can be made so many ways, and the PURE silver is a dream to work with. It’s softer than sterling, but at this gauge it’s no problem, and it’s gorgeous luster is like nothing else. This piece will just keep looking better, and will certainly be passed down for generations!

We were very busy today at METALS Camp! Who knew the melting temp of COPPER was SO close to the YEAR pennies STOPPED being made if copper?! And who could have guessed it could involve so much BLOW TORCH action?!

These gals, affectionately forevermore know to me simply as the Sisters-in-law, will never be able to tell you what they’re laughing about 🤣 But it was a very nice evening making Silver Spinner rings. Thank you, Jenny, Paige, Mel, and Amanda, AND featured Sister in Craft: Kristy, whose rings you see in the previous post. Love you all!

Please spread the word about JOE’S Garage METALS Camp. Hands-on jewelry making for adventurous crafter kids going into grades 4–6.
A little behind the scenes from my early morning LIVE interview with KDLT! Sioux Falls Community Ed invited me to be the location for a spot on KDLT’s School Zone morning show spotlighting youth and adult activities available through CommEd.
It was scary, but fun, kind of like using a blow torch which is something you can do at JOE’S Garage, as a matter of fact!
Reporter Simon Floss, and Tiffany on the camera, were super nice, which is ridiculous since it was 4:50AM! Melodee Kloiber from CommEd reminded everyone about the variety of interesting things to do this summer, kayaking, scuba...and metals classes...I’m just saying...
See my live feed and archives for my perspective of the spot 😁
