☀️ Rise & Shine! It’s time for MORE Disney Cruise Line News!
🚢 The Disney Adventure is setting sail from Singapore in 2025 on 3-Night & 4-Night Voyages.
The ship features SIX of the iconic DCL Smoke Stacks and will hold approximately 6,700 passengers. For reference, The Magic & Wonder have a capacity of approx. 2,700 and The Dream, Fantasy, Wish, Treasure, & Destiny have a capacity of 4,000.

And TODAY, information was released! There will be seven uniquely themed areas onboard for guests to explore, each with different beloved Disney characters.

1️⃣DISNEY IMAGINATION GARDEN
Only with a little Disney imagination can an open-air performance venue also be an enchanted valley and charming garden.
This gathering space, inspired by Disney adventures over the last 100 years from Moana to Mowgli, will be guests' gateway into the other realms onboard the cruise.

2️⃣DISNEY DISCOVERY REEF
In the nautical themed shopping and dining haven, expect to bump into characters from The Little Mermaid, Lilo & Stitch, Finding Nemo, and Luca.

3️⃣SAN FRANSOKYO STREET
What would it be like living in a city with Japanese and American architecture combined – or, in other words, the central location of Disney's 2014 animated film Big Hero 6?
At least on the Disney Adventure cruise, San Fransokyo street will be a family entertainment area, comprising interactive games, shops, and cinemas.

4️⃣WAYFINDER BAY
Here, an open-air oasis under the sun combines relaxation and entertainment. A poolside retreat inspired by the Pacific Islands artistry of Disney Animation's Moana will offer cruise guests with breathtaking views of the sea and sky.

5️⃣TOWN SQUARE
This is the land – or fantastical forest – to be if you've always dreamt of becoming a Disney royal. Shops, lounges, cafes, restaurants and entertainment venues in this space will be fashioned after classics, including Tangled, Cinderella, Frozen, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and The Princess and the Frog.

6️⃣MARVEL LANDING
As an homage to Marvel's larger-than-life personalities, this area will offer "Avengers-level adventure" for fans of all ages, with attractions and experiences that capture "imaginative representations" of guests' favorite superheroes.

7️⃣TOY STORY PLACE
Old school Pixar fans are in for a treat here. Guests can interact with themed food venues and water play areas, all dedicated to bringing Toy Story movies and shorts to life.

✨ yesterday I took a mental health day and a girls day. I drove down before 8am and got home just after 11pm.

I walked over 20k steps, visited 2 parks, rode the monorail, saw Poly get evacuated for a fire alarm, got rained on approximately 6x (or more), had security check bags 3x 😆, talked for probably the full 8-9 hours Katie and I were together which resulted in wrong turns and detours, and filled my heart with love and laughter. My hips and knees and feet feel every year of my 36 and every step I took yesterday.

Highlights: Bridgerton really DID come to the UK Pavillion at EPCOT & we saw SO many animals on the safari who were loving the rain! Including this brave soul who grazed in front of the sleeping lions….

Itinerary Details

Four ships, the Disney Fantasy, Disney Wish, Disney Treasure and Disney Dream, will regularly sail to one or both of Disney Cruise Line’s signature island destinations, Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, offering voyages filled with even more Disney magic.

Tropical itineraries await with sailings from the Pacific Coast and Gulf of Mexico in late 2025 and early 2026, and a third season of voyages will embark across Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific on the Disney Wonder from October 2025 to February 2026.

As part of Disney Cruise Line’s collection of themed sailings, families will make memories on beloved holiday cruises with Halloween on the High Seas and Very Merrytime sailings in September, October, November, and December 2025.

• Water Balloons
• LIGHT SABERS, but when I left for work they hadn’t done it yet. Because it HAD to be nighttime since they light up!

This is a separate ticketed event just like a party; general park admission does not grant you access. Pricing is date dependent; $75 to $85 + tax
⏰ The party was 8pm-11pm yet you can enter as early at 6pm.
💦 Weather permitting, all rides and attractions are available during the event.
⛱ if you’re feeling really fancy, you can call to rent a cabana ahead of time. This is a great idea if you have a large group! It always you to have a designated meeting place and a landing spot.
📲 Lockers are available! CASH or CARD ONLY! Magic Bands do not work for purchasing a locker. I utilized one for my wallet and phone and car keys. The cost is $10 OR $15 for a large one.
🎤 The DJ was spinning hot tracks like Cha Cha Slide, Let’s Get Loud, The Wobble, and We Don’t Talk About Bruno (no, no, no). And then the crowd went WILD when Mickey came on stage!
🍿 SNACKS! You had your choice of Popcorn, Mickey Bar, Mickey Ice Cream Sandwich, or Strawberry Fruit Bar at select areas from 8-11p.
🍣 There’s exclusive food for the event! I tried the Tuna Poke Bowl; it was good and I’d get it again! For 3 entrees + 3 waters + my piña colada, the total was $65.
👶🏼 We brought Brie when she was 13 months and there wasn’t much for her to do; just hang with us in the Lazy River. The wave pool is the main pool so it can be a little treacherous when the typhoon hits! I personally don’t want to bring my littles until they’re of the height for rides, but everyone’s different!
There is a splash area for littles.
🚌 Know this: there is NO direct bus service from resorts to Typhoon Lagoon! You’ll need to take the bus to Disney Springs that transfers to the water park. That being said, the cost to park is $0 and it’s an easy parking lot, so if you don’t mind, just drive!
❌ SOLD OUT! H2O Glow sold out quickly in 2023! It's an awesome event with 0 chance of you getting sunburned!

Right now at Disney World, the temp is over 90 degrees, the humidity is over 50%, and the UV Index is 10 out of 11. It is HOT.
Please protect yourself this summer as the heat can be dangerous!

- You can refill your water bottle/container at select stations
- Water from Quick Service restaurants is FREE
- Plan to take a break from the heat midday.
- Visit the parks early morning and later in the day/night
- Consider bringing electrolyte replacements such as Liquid IV or Pedialyte. My favorite, Strawberry Pedialyte!

Heat Exhaustion and Heatstroke do happen and can make you severely ill or kill you.

🌊 Local service on the island was not great and the paid DCL WiFi is 🥴

Lighthouse Point at Lookout Cay is BEAUTIFUL. They did an exceptional job!
My sailing is a PREVIEW cruise. So lots of Disney higher ups, media, influencers, and Travel Agents. It was an adult heavy cruise. However….Brie DID meet her favorite YouTube family/kid and hasn’t stopped talking about it!

You can’t really compare this to Castaway, and DCL doesn’t want you to.
For ME and my experience;
• Castaway is an easy, get off, walk around, hang out.
• Lookout Point is an ALL DAY commitment. It took us an hour from walking off the ship to getting off the train in the main area. Once we went back to the ship, there wasn’t really an opportunity for me to go “let me go back real quick for some pictures!” The way I do at castaway.

But the water was UNREAL. The most beautiful shades of blue, aqua, and turquoise. And oh so clear!

☀️we’re waiting for a tram!

• The pier is just over a half mile. It was built so far out due to the wildlife.
• The pier is not very wide so it doesn’t seem possible for a tram to safely go back and forth and allow pedestrians. *I’m unsure if they couldn’t build wider due to rocks/wildlife.
• It’s a hot pier! All concrete and no shade. We saw many people with umbrellas.
• My 5 year old had a break down about 3/4 of the way down saying her legs hurt and it was too far to walk. We had the umbrella stroller for the 3 year old. That being said, I HIGHLY recommend a stroller for littles!
• At the end of the pier you walk through a security station. You then come to the check in for charter boats, a bar (Mangroves & Co), a merchandise stand (First & Last Chance stand), and then make your way to the trams.
• There are three tram stations - the trams are gorgeous in color! If you choose to not take a tram….you’re looking at a 1.5 mile walk in direct sun - eek! I recommend the tram!

🌴 Docked at Castaway and it feels a big chilly! We were supposed to dock 0700 however due to waves and wind, the attempts were unsuccessful. So we went back out to sea and the Captain was able to dock us shortly after 10pm. The ships are backed into Castaway and they have the untamed ocean working against them. Due to the wind and temperature we have decided to stay on board.

2024 isn't going how I imagined.....I didn't make resolutions because I feel like you're asking to be disappointed, but dang! Sunday at 5am while at work, my throat started hurting. 12 hours later I couldn't talk and it was the worst pain ever. And then the vomiting began. I went to Urgent Care where my HR was 160 and my urine showed I was severely dehydrated and dumping ketones and blood. It was at that time I realized I hadn't been able to drink and keep anything down for >24hrs and I didn't remember the last time I even had to pee; I got out an amazing 40mL of urine for their test (in that timespan, I should have easily made >500mL). I was sent to the Emergency Room (I declined the ambulance they were so nicely going to call for me) and stayed there for 6 hours getting all the things - and yet not enough of the things - because my HR was still close to 130 when I was discharged. Asleep, my HR is 120. I've been around RSV, Flu A, Flu B, COVID, and Strep patients during December - they're all hitting our ICU hard! And wouldn't you know, it was STREP! Monday was a blur for me and while I let my dehydration "get behind the curve" as the Nurse Practitioner told me, I'm going to spend Tuesday "catching up" for YOU, my clients. Because y'all, Florida has a winter storm coming and our kid's school is cancelled tomorrow! So bring on the Yellow Gatorade because I'm now scared of my favorite Strawberry Pedialyte....it's what I threw up 7x :( My temp didn't break the thermometer, but it's high and my white count is also VERY high!
