As international air travel demand continues to soar, there's a notable shift in the rankings of the world's busiest airports. The latest report from Airports Council International (ACI) World reveals the top 10 busiest airports worldwide for 2023. Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport retains its leading position, with Dubai International Airport making its debut in second place, surpassing Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, which now ranks third.

Among the top 10 airports for total passenger traffic, five are located in the United States.

Tokyo Haneda experiences the most significant advancement in the rankings, jumping from 16th place in 2022 to the 5th position in 2023, while Denver (DIA) claims the 6th spot.

My name is Eby Johnson. I have owned and operated a boutique travel agency in Lakewood, Colorado since 2001. I have been a Certified Travel Consultant since 1993 and professionally affiliated with IATAN, ASTA & CLIA. Prior to starting my company, I worked for United Airlines, CUC Travel, Carlson Wagonlit Travel and Cendant Travel handling several large corporate accounts as well as a solid leisure travel client base. These 25+ years of service has enabled me to work with virtually every aspect of an ever changing travel industry. My passion for this business is as strong as ever.
