Max and I went after the trout yesterday. The bite was slow but we had some nice ones! We had a 27 and a 26 inch trout. We also had 2 puppy drum that were 26 inches.

Awesome day on the water! We caught some very good trout today! Biggest one was 28.25 inches and weighed 7 lbs. 5 ounces! Released in great shape!

Great day on the water with Cj, Roy, and John! John caught the 1st drum of the day that measured 40 inches and fat! Congrats John on your first big drum! Roy caught the 2nd big drum that measured 47 inches! Awesome fish Roy! Things were slow for a while until Cj hooked up and landed a 43 incher! Another awesome day on the Pamlico Sound!

Debra, Steve, Crystal, and Brayden were ready to catch some big drum! We caught a variety of small fish to use for bait. We caught croakers, pinfish, pigfish. and spot . Brayden caught several small puppy drum he released to grow up.
We got the poles set up late afternoon. Crystal got the first drum that hit. She had never caught a big drum. She did very good and landed a 44 incher. Next up was young Brayden! The big drum hit hard and Brayden was ready. Everybody was excited and Brayden caught his first big drum! Brayden fish measured about 44 inches too. Next up was Debra. Debra has experience catching big drum. The fish hit and made a good run or two! Debra landed her big drum that measured a little over 45 inches! Debra always seems to catch the biggest drum!
The nighttime bite never happened for us! Steve never got his chance to get his drum. He was glad to see everyone else catch their fish!. We sure had a great time first sure!

Great time yesterday catching big drum! We got on a good bite at sunset. The biggest one was a little over 50 inches! .Awesome day for sure!!
