Hey there!! 👋 I came across this cool app yesterday and wanted to test it out and share with you my findings. It’s called weekend.com. This app 📲 returns travel deals for weekend trips. The best part is you can customize to your needs and budget.
👉In this example, I searched for weekend deals from Houston, TX 🌇 for under $350, that includes flight and hotel!! Amazing!
🛑 I do caution you to do your research before purchasing any deal. For the hotels, I usually go to TripAdvisor.com and enter the name and read through real customer reviews as well as ratings. You don’t want it to end up being a disappointment, so that’s an important step.
For flight ✈️ info, I double check the carriers, consider if you have to pay extra for baggage, or flight times because you want to make sure you enjoy the majority of your weekend. Also, verify the carriers and whether the flight plan includes layovers and ensure it’s not an overnight layover, as this can become costly and time consuming.

1. Plan it out. Proper planning gives you enough time to research and apply travel deals.
2. Know where you want to go. 🤔💡 Select and compare two or three options so that you can make a sound decision.
3. Do your research. 💻 ✍️ Use search aggregators such as bookingbuddy.com or Google Flights to return the lowest deals.
4. Sign up on these sites to receive alerts via email 📧 when prices drop for your particular search.

How to use Google Maps to Plan Your Trip
👋 Hey there!!! Are you planning an upcoming trip out of the country or to a large city with many attractions? Use Google Maps to help you with your trip planning. 📲🗺🌴🛫🌆🌉
Here are a few tips for suggested use:
1. Create a custom map and add pins to places/attractions that you’d like to visit. This will help you to better gauge your time for the day. Using this method allows you to know what attractions are close together to make better use of your time.
2. Download your custom map 🗺 so that you can use it offline, in the event that you don’t have Internet/WiFi access. *Just make sure that your phone 📲 is fully charged and that you have a portable charger 🔌 (or two) on hand.
3. For safety, especially solo travelers, enable Location Sharing and share with close family members or a trusted friend of your whereabouts.
