LOVED IT!!!
So much fun!!! Audrey was the perfect hostess, pleasant, engaging, and kept us on schedule. We will definitely look to schedule more tours with her. Perfect activity if you have friends visiting from out of town and would like to give them a sampling of some of our area's fine eats!
Medford –
We have been on all the tours and they are wonderful. We were honored to be the 1st guests of the newest added tour - Medford. Great time, great food, and great experience.
Atlantic City –
My husband and I went on the Atlantic City food tour on Saturday October 21st and we had a blast! Our tour guide Audrey was phenomenal! She plans out the entire tour perfectly so that you’re not constantly eating. She mixes up the food tastings with art, culture and history. This was our second tour and we have three more booked!! The food tastings were delicious with subs, fish tacos, lasagna and fudge! Such a fun way to spend an afternoon! And you will leave full at the end of the tour too!!
Burlington City –
On Saturday afternoon, we had a wonderful experience touring Burlington City, New Jersey. This was our fourth outing with Audrey, owner and tour guide for On the Town Food Tours. The Burlington City tour was a special offering, in part as a fundraiser for a local museum, the Armed Forces Heritage Museum. The tour began at the museum. We then proceeded to a local coffee house for a tasting and a brief talk by the owner about coffeemaking. We had terrific pulled pork sandwiches at The Union House; perfectly made fried chicken and waffles at Taste of Soul, where Ms. Nancy greeted us all personally; and then delicious lobster ravioli at Francesco's. In between there was a walking tour of the town and discussion of its history. Hopefully Audrey will be able to add Burlington to her schedule permanently, to complement her other great tours (we've done Bordentown city, Hammonton, and Mt. Holly). There was a total of eight people on this tour and we had the chance to interact with everyone. This was another great experience and we look forward to booking the next one.
Bordentown
Great time tonight on Bordentown, NJ food tour with our theatre friends. Audrey owner and tour guide made the evening special! 3 restaurant stops and great walking history tour. Started at Toscano Restorante, Old Town Pub, and finished at Under the Moon Cafe’. And a sweet treat from The Candy Jar.
I never realized Downtown Bordentown held such treasures.
Hammonton
We attended the tour yesterday for beautiful downtown Hammonton. I would gladly recommend this trip to anyone who is interested in South Jersey history and a love for good food. Our host was professional, friendly ,and knowledgeable. She introduced us to creative, delicious food from five different locations. The owners of the stores spent time with us and welcomed us warmly. This was a wonderful culinary experience. We can’t wait to return to some of these places. It was a great day.
Collingswood
I always enjoy food tours and this one, partially due to the owner/guide, Audrey, really shines. The choices for lunch/tastings were diverse and each was delicious. What makes this tour a bit more special is the non-lunch stops -- a coffee shop and an olive oil shop both with extraordinary owners. Also there was a bakery stop, Dulce, which was worth the whole price of the tour. Its owner/baker is one of the most personable and interesting bakers ever who took the time to talk in detail about his endeavor. The sample croissant dulce de leche was devoured by the group, all of whom declared it the most delicious baked product, and he made it special just for the tour! Collingswood is a great little town and the walk with Audrey's commentary was an excellent experience. I think next time I will organize the walk with about 10 friends.
