It's a beautiful Bob Marley kinda day here on island.
There is a light breeze, the puffy scattered clouds backed by a clear blue sky is mirroring down on the flat, calm waters. Puppy Taino is stretched out across my legs, letting out a big chest expanding sigh now and then.

Inhale...

May the seas lie smooth before you. May a gentle breeze forever fill your sails. May sunshine warm your face, and kindness warm your soul.

With the closure of our 2024 dolphin season, there are so many emotions that are flowing through my soul. Mostly being thankful.

We were truly a human/ dolphin family out here and suffer the sadness and joys connected with these mostly amazing experiences that mother nature and the energies brought on board by our guests from all over the world offer us.

I am so thankful for those of you who joined and trusted in us to help realize your dolphin dreams this past season. Each week, being a completely unique experience, our guests, Mother Nature, and ourselves all play a part in how each week will unfold... unfolding in a way that might not be immediately understood but as it's supposed to and should be.

We lost a very special soul in Claudia who has been with us for over 20 years as a friend and facilitating dolphin swims with us with her guests from Germany. I know she will always be with us here in spirit with her uniqueness and love.

On the joyful side, we did have amazing amounts of love gifted to us. As I was steering Indigo Dreams to our next anchorage at the end of a long day, a red-headed teary-eyed husband on his way to dinner confided to me that this was one of the five best days in his life... it was a touching and thankful moment shared.

Have you ever wanted something so badly that you can not breathe... have you ever loved someone madly...

With great sadness and much love we heavy hearted and sadly say, "See you on the dolphin grounds my wonderful and special friend," to our loving and most cherished friend, Claudia.
Claudia has been an inspiration and backbone for so many.
For over 20 years she has facilitated trips with us bringing guests from Germany to experience the uniqueness and love that Mother Nature blesses us with here in this special place.
Around January she learned that she might not have much time left here and put together a group knowing that is was most likely her last chance to swim with her beloved dolphins and to share that experience with others.
Last Friday, Claudia passed. She had put together a very special two week experience for her guests. Yesterday, and last evening, we celebrated her life and will continue throughout the future. There's no doubt that she will be joining us on the dolphin grounds as usual, with her strong German accent translating my boring stories into much longer boring stories in German.
Claudia, you are so loved, so missed and in a much better place... I'm looking forward to when we hug again. Peace

Waking up this morning anchored off Honeymoon Harbour to play with our stingray family this morning...
Yesterday was another sweet day with our spotted dolphin family. Two different interactions that were each sweet in their own way...
The first one starring a four month old baby that couldn't get enough playing around.
The photos are from the second interaction. A very intimate and chilled time for both our guests and our dolphin family...

Walking along the beach this morning, taking puppy Taino and myself for our morning walk, the sun just starting to rise over Indigo Dreams at anchor on the horizon. A young reef shark keeps pace with us as its dorsal fin cuts the surface as he swims parallel to us for a bit.
The winds have calmed down, and it's difficult to tell where the sky and ocean meet...
7 am right now, and we're heading out to see our wild dolphin family and whatever else Mother Nature has in store for us.
The photos are from yesterday's interactions with about 20 of our favorite spotted friends. Blessed for a good bit of the afternoon.
I'm still learning to play with this 360 camera, and it's not wanting to turn on and off as it should.
I missed the capturing these guys as they just drifted with us in the water, lying next to our guests' belly up at times and just living on everyone.
Another nice day to be alive..

This week... so much to be thankful for.
Thankful for everyone who kindly sent positive birthday wishes my way.
Thankful for the blessing to have Fathers Day mean something so special by being a father and for the love and guidance my father selflessly showered on me.
Thankful to be able to do something that I love and am able to share with others.
Thankful for puppy Taino who brings love and goofy warmth to myself and those who join us.
Thankful for Mother Natures guidance, through her windy self, she opened up more of our venues to our guests this past week. Getting to spend more time with our loving turtle family, our stingray family on their private island with their shark buddies who think that pulling up on the beach hanging there
and wanting to cuddle is the coolest thing.
Thankful for our wild spotted dolphin family, who, when Mother Nature laid down the seas and brought out the sun, gifted us with hours of intimate love.
I am thankful to be here to share this special place after being diagnosed with lung cancer many moons ago and all is well.
Thankful for the full moon that graced us with her radiance as we anchored under her perfect glow.
Thankful for our guests this week that patiently waited for our dolphin days to transpire as we played with everything in the waters as the winds subsided.
Thankful for our chef Mimmi, who has been with us for 18 years, both as a guest and lately as our do it all crew member. Joyously taking on anything that needs to be taken care of for anyone who's in need... plus great meals!!
Sorry to see the solstice as I love the long days and do miss them as each day shortens....
It's been a great ride and I'm Thankful, thank you... peace
