From corn mazes and hayrides to U-pick pumpkins and cider canning, these harvest festivals have something for everyone. Mark your calendars and enjoy the best of the season!

1. Bauman's Harvest Festival in Gervais runs from Sep 23 - Oct 29 with a corn maze, petting zoo, hayrides, and U-pick pumpkins.

2. Fir Point Farms Harvest Festival in Aurora is open Sep 30 - Oct 28, offering a corn maze, hayrides, pumpkin painting, and a petting zoo.

3. E.Z. Orchards HarvestFest in Salem runs Sep 30 - Oct 30, featuring a corn maze, hayrides, petting zoo, and kids' games.

4. Detering Orchards near Harrisburg hosts weekend harvest activities from mid-Sep to mid-Nov, including wagon rides, U-pick pumpkins, and cider canning.

5. Sublimity Harvest Festival runs Sep 6-8, featuring monster trucks, truck pulls, ATV pulls, and more. A local favorite for over 50 years.

6. Mt. Hood Territory Harvest Trail offers a passport program in October for activities across multiple farms with rewards.

Part 1. | Wineries Outside McMinnville

Nestled west of McMinnville in the foothills of the Coast Range, the McMinnville AVA spans 40,500 acres, featuring shallow, uplifted marine soils. With vineyards perched between 200 and 1,000 feet in elevation, the area benefits from protective Coast Range mountains and drying winds from the Van Duzer Corridor. Today, 600 acres of this unique terroir are planted with vines.

Step into the lush landscapes of Tabula Rasa Farms, in the heart of the Willamette Valley. Tabula Rasa Farms owner, Brenda, is a dedicated locavore, or a person whose diet consists only or principally of locally grown or produced food. Her mission is to respect the land and animals to provide healthy all natural foods.

🐄 Brenda's farm raises their animals with dignity and respect allowing them to graze and forage on lush pastures and forest land. Tabula Rasa raises heritage bred cattle, heritage bred hogs, pastured/free range turkey, pasture-raised ducks, grass-fed lamb, and pastured laying hens.

🎪Join Veneta, OR (15mi west of Eugene) in 2 days for the Oregon Country Fair! 🍭🎠

🎨A weekend offering over 500+ crafters, 17+ stages, a variety of delicious food, interactive art installations, and tons of unique handcrafted goods and gifts. The fair grounds will be open 11am to 7pm Friday 7/12, Saturday 7/13, and Sunday 7/14.

🍭✨Perfect for attending with family, friends or both — kids under 12 enter for free! There are multiple kid zones with face painting, parades, playgrounds, and more all with plenty of shade.

🎟️Purchase tickets online at oregoncountryfair.org. Tickets must be purchased online in advance as tickets will not be sold on site.

🚙There’s a few ways to get into the event: by car, by shuttle bus or by bike. Event parking available for $15 per car can be purchased with your ticket online or upon entry. If you’re driving in, enter the fair grounds from OR-126 just 12 miles west of Eugene.

🚌 Free shuttle busses are available into the fairgrounds, just show your fair ticket to board. Shuttle bus stops are Eugene Station and Valley River Center behind the DMV. 🚲 There’s bike racks located around the fairgrounds, don’t forget your lock!

⛺There’s a few of lodging options. Camping can be found at nearby at Zumwalt, Carefree Farms, Darling Reunion, GnomeWood, EZ Camp, Sol Creek Farms, Shady Rest reach out to camp hosts for more info. The Eugene hostel is just a short bus ride to the fair. There are also hotels nearby.
