Thank you for liking and following this page. I have not been updating regularly because this has been a crazy year for travel. Ever changing regulations, cancelled and rebooked vacations, constantly having to change your plans and destinations has been an exercise in frustration.
Finally there is light at the end of the tunnel.
Pent up frustration has opened the flood gates of demand. The airlines and rental car companies have been overwhelmed and prices reflect it.
Hopefully, once this bubble passes, things should get back to "normal."
There has never been a better reason to reach out to travel agents or travel advisors. I have a great article from The New York Times I will upload for you.
As you know, we are paid by the vacation vendors, the resorts, tour operators, airlines, etc., not our customers. We have access to travel portals the public does not. We are advocates for our clients and have the ability to cut though the red tape and can make things happen that the public, after an hour hold with an overworked call center employee, can't.
I am in the process of interviewing candidates interested in joining our team and I have found a web developer that will get thevacationstore.net, our dedicated site, rolling.
I will also be updating our office phone number shortly.
