Nez Perce Tourism,

This is my 5th time doing this boat tour and I got to experience it differently this time. I recently lost a sibling and I took opportunity to travel further into Saqánpa (Hells Canyon) and experience new sights along the river. As a tribal member, I was seeking an answer on how to deal with my grief and sorrow over loosing a sibling. I learned more about the history of our land and took time to process what my river and land had to offer. This experience helped me clear my mind, through this trip I found a way to move forward in a good way. I am thankful for the opportunity to navigate through my homelands with Nez Perce Tourism.

Quote: “Like a river, life may have its twists and turns, but with each bend, there’s an opportunity to discover something new about ourselves.”

Dear Stacia,

I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the incredible Nez Perce presentation we had the privilege of experiencing before embarking on our journey with American Cruise Lines 🇺🇸 Columbia & Snake River Cruise 🚢. It was truly a breathtaking and inspiring way to kick off our adventure, immersing ourselves in the rich history and culture of our country, from days of old to the present.

Your presentation reminded us of the invaluable contributions, enrichments, and sacrifices made by Native Americans like the Nez Perce, shaping the journey and growth of the United States that we know today. It's essential that we honor and remember these legacies, ensuring they remain an integral part of American history.

Thank you once again, from the depths of my heart, for sharing your heritage and wisdom with us. We are forever grateful for the profound impact it had on our journey.

Warm regards,
📸 Christine Dinio Grajo Tomberg
