Alaska is home to some of the most incredible animals, each with its own unique story.
Here are six you might encounter on your journey:

Golden Eagle – These majestic birds known for their incredible vision, able to spot prey from miles away. Often seen soaring high, they are a symbol of strength and freedom.

Caribou – Caribou, also known as reindeer, are famous for their epic migrations, traveling up to 3,000 miles a year across the Alaskan wilderness.

Brown Bear – Alaska is renowned for its brown bear population, including the massive grizzlies. These bears are often spotted fishing for salmon in rivers and streams. Seeing a brown bear in its natural habitat is a thrilling experience.

Moose – The moose is the largest member of the deer family, standing tall at up to 6 feet at the shoulder. They’re commonly found near lakes, ponds, and forested areas.

Sea Otter – Sea otters are one of Alaska’s most endearing animals, often seen floating on their backs in coastal waters. These playful creatures are known for their thick fur, which keeps them warm in the chilly ocean. Sea otters are also known for their unique behavior of using rocks to crack open shellfish, their favorite food.
