There’s luxury, and then there’s Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve.

This isn’t your typical Caribbean resort. With just 100 beachfront rooms (all with outdoor showers and private plunge pools), it feels more like a hidden estate than a hotel.

Guests can snorkel straight from the beach, bike the Rockefeller Nature Trail, or reserve a private dinner under the stars. And when you book through me, I’ll add VIP perks, upgrades when available, and a few surprises you won’t find online.

1. It's the motherland.....
2. Nature in it's greatest variety, all in one country.
3. The opportunity to give back.
4. To learn.

The biggest reason I travel is the 4th one. Learning about other cultures, environments, and peoples, nothing brings me more joy. And then, since I'm a travel ADVISOR, I pass what I've learned about the location to you and cultivate your next favorite vacation.

One of my FAVORITE things to do when traveling is taking a cooking class. Not much more gives you the real culture than cooking a meal, often in a locals home. You dive right in to what makes each location so special. You actually get to "taste" the essence.

From pasta and limoncello in Italy, to guacamole in Mexico, udon noodles in Japan, kao soi in Thailand or gojuchang in Korea - food is the essence of a place. You don't have to be a professed "foodie" to take part. Anyone can! Everyone should take a cooking class while traveling in my opinion. It's where the heart meets the soul.
