❗️PSA ❗️... A lot of people do not know or understand this...

If your US passport expires within 3-6 months of your travel date from the US to Europe, YOU CANNOT TRAVEL ... and basically to any other international destination!

My friends husband’s passport expired May 22nd, 2023. They tried to board their flight to Germany on March 12, 2023 from LAX. At the boarding gate they were denied entry and told, “sorry your passport expires in less than 6 months so you’re not going”.

Hard lesson learned: your passport expiration date IS NOT your passport expiration date - it’s 6 months before the expiration date (some countries 3 months).

Hopefully someone on here can learn from their mistake.
